    What more can I say

I have been waiting for these for weeks, and now at last I have them. They are excellent. So convenient, they pair immediately, the audio is good, and no more cables to annoy. They do even more than I expected, and are so beautifully designed and fit so well into their little case. I thought they were expensive, but looking at what is in them, they are worth the money.

    Great Wireless concept

I like that there are no cords thats a very innovated way to create technology. But on the other side, you are unable to turn volume up and down unlike the Bose soundsports you have the volume up and down switch that is easily accessible. In order to turn the volume down or up you have to manual do that Via your phone or using Siri. So if your running or bike riding that could become annoying having to stop and do that. Plus who wants to talk while asking Siri turn my volume down or up if your around people kinda awkward. Plus i still have the feeling they will fall out of your ears. I really hope the next generation Apple AirPods have the option of touching the AirPods to let you turn the volume up or down and perhaps redesign them so they feel more as if they wont fall out of your ear. Not saying there bad EarPods just a customer voicing his feedback and what is one thing that moves a company forward and grow is by listening to the all the customer feedback.

The best BT headphones with the worst design

The best feature of these headphones is that you can use one, or you can use both, which makes them the perfect hybrid for almost anywhere! Wear one while at your desk and wear both when you are going for a walk. Syncing them is as easy as opening the box they came in, if you have both of them on the music will pause wen you remove one and will resume when you put it back on. The sound quality and call quality are far better than anything else currently available!
Now off the the bad: the design. They look like two awful shinny earrings. White is the only color available, (Why couldn't Apple also make them in black?) they will fall if your try running or working out with them on and they have no controllers.(No, Siri doesn't count because I can't be talking to her while at my desk at work) Also they should have include an optional cable to bridge them in.

    Awesome

Ordered the Airpods and couldn't wait to get them. When they did come, they were so easy to set up and use. I use them everyday at work and the charge lasts for so long. Highly recommend these to anyone wanting wireless headphones.

    pleasantly amazed

Negatives - these seem ridiculously expensive on face value and no external controls other than Siri "functionality".
Pros - phenomenal sound, flawless pairing and connections, incredible freedom.

I had to wait 6 WEEKS for these things to arrive off backorder and I thought I was nuts for dropping $160 on them. BUT once you experience them, it becomes obvious that they're another example of Apple engineering. On the cusp of overpriced but oh so worth it for the design, engineering and just general excellence. The pairing process is magical for lack of a better word. Flipped open the case with my phone nearby, pressed the connect prompt for the one time initial process and they were paired instantly to my phone, watch, iPad and mac. The W1 chip does its thing remarkably well because they have zero static, exceptional range and jump into connected status almost instantly every time I use them. Do yourself a favor and get a caddy case to hold them on your keys or purse or bag because you'll want to always have them with you. Phone/Skype/Facetime conversations are clear and crisp with excellent microphone and noise cancellation performance from my end. And I am flat out amazed how good they sound with music. To the point of shaming (or at least equaling) much more expensive cans. I assume it must be outstanding EQ work by the electronics but whatever the secret sauce, it works great. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

    Excellent sound!

I wouldn't consider myself an "audiophile" but for my use, AirPods are great! They easily pair to my iPhone and iPad with no issues. I know they aren't the highest quality available but for wireless earbuds, these are amazing. Battery life is actually really good. The quick charge option with the AirPods case is really cool too. I've watched movies with these and listened to music and was just blown away. Obviously they are great for voice calls/video chats but even on the entertainment side they work really well. Pricey but such a great product!

    Absolutely Fantastic

I was really sceptical about these, the wired set with similar design supplied with my iPhone 6 have never been used as I don't like the noise leakage but these are something else entirely!

I tried a pair of AirPods in an Apple Store, paired to my iPhone so I could test them with my music. Store let me play with them for about 20 minutes and I bought a pair, the sound is really crisp and clear, the case is really cute (and much smaller in real life than I thought it would be). Setup is easy - open the case, tap Connect. That's it. Ridiculous ease of use.

I put them on as I walked out of the Apple Store (battery was 95% on the AirPods and 70% case) and got the train home. Didn't miss a beat and when I phoned a friend using them they had no idea I was walking through a busy town centre.

My Powerbeats3 have just gone on eBay.

    Although nicely designed.....

.....they're not worth the price tag!
I bought these a good few months ago when my local Apple Stores eventually started to stock them and although i was really impressed by the sound quality, they lack any sort of noise cancellation so anything louder than general chatter and your music is drowned out.
The batteries in both the AirPods and Case last quite a long time so that's a plus.

The only thing that's making me keep them is the fact they're truly wireless. I had Bose SoundSport before and hated the wire across the back of the neck; these eliminate that problem altogether.
Contrary to popular belief, they do not just fall out of your ears either, even when running.

An innovation worthy of Steve Jobs

This is one of the best products Apple designed in the last five years, the convenience of being truly wire-less (shall we say wire-free, unlike wireless Beatsx with a cord that connects both earbuds) cannot be underestimated. The quality of sound fulfills my needs, while the bluetooth connection is rock solid. Totally worth its price, and once you become accustomed to them, you wonder how on earth people make phone calls putting that bulky handset by their ear. 6 stars of 5. A++.

    Brilliant tech

I quickly got over the 'look' of the AirPods, because the are simply amazing. No wires, a great voice mic, and with wonderful sound. If the wired Apple ear buds are not your thing then maybe these are not either, but otherwise the AirPods are simply fantastic. I have a couple blue tooth headphones and the AirPods are the easiest to pair and are incredibly minimalistic. There is no question in my mind, AirPods are the greatest technology in headphones at this time. Battery life is excellent considering their super small size and negligible weight. The only thing that could be improved is sound isolation that you can get with 'earplug' type headphones (thinking Etymotics).

Best invention since the iPhone. Great for active lifestyle or working out (not cord restriction). Also great for conference calls, etc. I wear them all the time.

    Great but...

These are the best earbuds I’ve ever had. They’re loud and fit well. I waited sooo long for them to finally drop and ordered them the day they came out. But... about 6 months later I lost them... For as expensive they were and how excited I was about them I was extremely upset. I still haven’t found them to this day. I feel like due to the price they should have some sort of technology to where if you lose them you can make them make a noise or something.. Or a warranty or something...

    Incredible Value

I had the Airpods for about three months. Yes, I had them until my dog used my Airpods as a chew toy. The Airpods are incredible! For comparison, I also own the Here One Earbuds and the Nuheara IQbuds. The Here One Earbuds and IQbuds both sound better than the Airpods but that is where their advantage ends. So although the other two earbuds sound better, their battery life is horrible (1-3 hours depending on features enabled) and the charging cases are ridiculously large, not something you want to walk around with in your front pocket.

The Airpods sound is really really good, but not great. This is probably a trade off for cost, size, battery life, and design (for noise canceling they would have to fit better/tighter in my ear). The Airpods were also the least expensive of the three earbuds I purchased. Using the Airpods with the Apple watch is also an advantage. When going out for a run I used my watch and Airpods, left my iPhone at home. What would be a great improvement for the Apple watch would be better playlist management, currently I can only have one playlist on the watch at a time. The other Earbuds could pair with my watch but they can only be paired with one device.

I ordered new Airpods to replace the Airpods my dog destroyed (or maybe he was doing a product teardown to show me the components). and the mandatory 6 week waiting period is almost over and I should receive them this week.

    Great product

Overall this product is really good. They feel more comfortable in my ears than the EarPods do and I'm very pleased I don't have a wire dangling down, getting in my way now.
One problem (for me), is that if you want to change the volume or track, you need to ask Siri. I think if it had certain touch commands, it would be easier for people who don't want to always talk out loud and ask Siri.

Other than that, I love the product

    The best product of 2016

I wasnt fond of the design, i wasnt fond that it was not an in ear. I took a leap of faith and was rewarded heavily.

Yes it is not the best sounding nor has any isolation. But it is more than great for a commoner like myself. The connection was super easy, no more people pulling on the wires.

Using this i feel free without the cable, enjoy it every single day. Only complain: Better battery life.

    Amazing!

I was skeptical about purchasing these AirPods. They were never in stock, however, I was able to get them at Best Buy. I have had them now for 3 days. The first day I went to the gym and lifted weights, the AirPods were perfect. I then went on my 4 mile walk/run. I am amazed. The AirPods stayed in my ears with out moving. Funny thing, I freaked out in the middle of my run and had to see if the AirPods were still in my ear, of course they were, as I was still hearing music in my ears. A funny story my whole family just laughed at when I told them. The AirPods have replaced all of my headphones. I now only have the tiny and amazing AirPods to listen to my music when I exercise, and when I do chores around the house, or when I am studying at school in the library. You should buy these and give them a shot. See if they work for you, if they do you will be pleased. I am so happy with my purchase. I Love my new AirPods.
