    AirPods are awesome

So after a long wait, I finally got them and this is my review
    1. Design, they are really awesome and u can't feel them at all, so you should take care not to lose them
    2. Pairing is very easy, just open the case and that's it, it's paired on all ur devices
    3. Battery life which is I guess the most important thing, I tried them in gym for like 2 hrs and the charge dropped to 80% almost , I usually listen to music at 60% or 55% volume, so you can say like 10% per hr, also the case is really great, it's very fast in charging the AirPods, within 10 minutes I got like 40%
    4. Siri and accelerometer works fine, but u need to double tap with little force
    5. Proximity sensor has some bug I guess specially when switching from one device to another like from iPhone to iPad, so it stops working sometimes until you go to settings and turn off automatic ear detection and turn back on again, I think this is a software/ firmware , also I think this proximity sensor depends on ur ear
    6. Controls, I think Apple should have added basic controls like volume up/down , skip tracks, move forward etc, as Siri is not very practical specially in crowded areas, it will be awkward to speak "volume up", "skip track" etc, it works flawlessly but not practical for basic controls to talk to Siri, I hope this will be added in future firmwares, as there is already accelerometer so its just a programming issue to add these features

So in general I recommend this product and I rated it as 5, as it's really nice

    Better than wire EarPods

I've owned the AirPods for about a month and have used them running outside and on the treadmill. They seem to stay in better than the EarPods probably due to not having the wires "pull down on them". I do have to periodically readjust their fit after sweating, but they haven't fallen out once. The sound is good. Glad I waited and bought a pair.

Good headphones make you listen to more music

AirPods are exceptional little headphones, and absolutely worth the price of admission. Sound is accurate unlike Beats, so don't expect to hear overwhelming bass. All genres will sound very good, and perhaps more importantly, you'll be more likely to listen to your music throughout the day because you won't have to worry about wires.

You already know about the features of these headphones. If you were reasonably happy with EarPods and you can afford the cost of AirPods, what are you waiting for?

    Innovation at its best

These AirPods are awesome. I held out until I happened to try them on at a store and was blown away at how comfortable and well designed they are. I ordered that day and they just got here last night. I want to use them all the time.

    Great when they work

When they work they are fantastic. The problem with AirPods is they are VERY inconsistent. Most times, both AirPods will connect but every once in a while, only one will. And it's a real pain to try to figure out why and then get the other one to connect.

My biggest beef with them, though, is that the tap-to-Siri/tap-to-pause-and-play basically just doesn't work. I have mine configured to pause/play when I double tap. Most of the time I find myself practically banging one to get it to work. If that doesn't work, I tap the other side. Sometimes that helps, sometimes not. There is literally about a 50% chance it'll work. Not to mention, the sound of tapping them even a little bit isn't very pleasant. While not always as practical, it's much more effective to simply remove one when I need it to pause.

Ultimately, I wish Apple had taken a little more time to get these right. While still better than any other Bluetooth ear pods I've ever used, they are uncharacteristically bad for being an Apple product. And for $150+ it's the first Apple purchase I've ever made that I've questioned.

    Next stop: implants!

Frees me up to move about while my various devices stay plugged in. Fast charging and sound great. Haven't fallen out yet while running or cycling.
Used in combo with my Apple Watch and iPhone, I am connected to everything! I CONTROL EVERYTHING!

I have been using these for a couple of weeks now and I am impressed. The sound quality is excellent and they work equally well for listening to music or talking on the phone.

I am most impressed with the clever charging system, using the case as a wireless charger. Brilliant. I use them at work and they charge in my briefcase on the way home.

Great, but cannot make or answer phone calls if you own an Apple Watch

These headphones are as wonderful as everyone describes, except if you also happen to own an Apple Watch! When answering/making phone calls, for some reason there's no sound through the AirPods unless you switch your Apple Watch off completely.

    A huge disappointment

I was pretty excited about buying these earbuds, but was hugely disappointed when they finally arrived.

Firstly, Apple really need to get their act together with distribution. Letting people wait so long after ordering (I get that it at the supplier end) only gives customers time to move on with their lives, so they stop being excited.

That said, these AirPods are probably the most disappointing Apple product I have bought in my 20 years or so of buying Apple products.

The quality of the sound is awful, not even close to the corded EarPods. The sound is tinny and empty.

The Bluetooth connectivity is also really dodgy. Mine kept dropping in and out when I was trying to make calls.

And, they look awful in your ears. Really awful. It looks like you have candy cigarettes sticking out of your earholes. Along with the fact that they don't stay in very well, they are really poorly designed in so many ways.

This is not up to the usual Apple standard - but I get the impression that Apple no longer really care as much about their products now.

The only saving grace has been Apple's return policy. Thankfully, I was able to return them, and get a full refund. So, I will likely continue to buy Apple products, but really can't see that I will ever buy the EarPods, and am resistant to buying the iPhone 7 if they only way to connect to sound is via Bluetooth.

    Best purchase of 2017

Just another perfect Apple product. By far the best wireless ear buds I have ever purchased. Very light weight, excellent sound. They connect automatically to your iPhone, so simple to use. Take one ear bud out and your music automatically pauses, put it back in, music plays again. And no, for all you haters, they don't fall out. I run in them and have never had a problem. And if you're worried about "losing them", that's your problem not Apple's.

Just got these today.... I am blown away, they are way better than I thought they would be. Pairing was seamless and the sound quality is remarkable. Since I just got them today I'm going to be doing a true review of them in about a week or two. Stay tuned.

Not Load Enough, Fall Out When You Bend Over or Jog, Tech is Awesome

As an avid workout person, while walking on a treadmill these need to be at least two-three stops loader. Also when you bend over or are jogging they fall out. Even doing something like dead lift when the weight hits the ground they bounce out of your ear.

I am not saying the tech isn't amazing, but unless you sit on your bum all day these need some improvements in usability. Apple needs to provide something that fits on them to hold them in your ear during activity. Yes people make accessories for them, but they need to come standard, especially for the price.

    Innovative but unreliable.

So the things that you may worry about before buying them - work fine. They pair easily and they do stay in your ears without issues. I haven't lost them once. (Knock on wood.) But, they are unreliable: even though they are paired and connected to my iPhone, they randomly will refuse to direct any sound through them. That is even when the icon in the call window says that I am using AirPods - no sound. Lot's of similar stories over support forums. Also, up to two hours of talk time really means that you cannot take two back to back 1 hour long conference calls. So, as a business tool they fall short. Now, when they are charged and when they work - they are a delight for calls, music quality is so, so.

    AirPods or airbricks?

They do not pair with Apple Watch 2 unless you shut down and restart the watch each time which takes 10 minutes. There are questions about this all over Apple support, but so far in over six months this issue hasn't been fixed. If you are buying the AirPods to listen to music from your watch then don't waste your money. This product is the last from Apple i will buy

The AirPods are absolutely genius. Bravo to Apple on creating such a marvellous product. They may be pricey but the build quality, simplicity and audio quality are nothing short of awesome. If you love music, these are perfect for you.

    Deadass worth the money

They're the best truly wireless headphones available right now. I used Jaybird X3's for months and those are great but call quality is trash and audio syncing some sometimes an issue.
