    Can not connect

I have a lot of issues with connecting in between devices such as from my laptop to my phone both are apple. Always having to go into my Bluetooth and reconnect them. I have never had issues with my Bose wireless headphones. These airpods not worth the money.

I got a pair for my birthday and It was the only gift I got haha. But when I wore them, I knew that no other gift would compare compare to these anyway. The design is beautiful and flawless. They feel so lightweight and I don’t even feel them in my ears. They don’t fall out of your ears either. The sound quality is great. I love the custom touch option to change the functions on the Airpods and overall this was an amazing gift. This is Apple’s engineering at its finest as usual. Even though this was the only gift I got, it definitely made my day.

All works fine with mine so far, even I read 1 Star review first, but I still can’t believe others said, so I bought it to try. Amazing!

    Technophile vs. Audiophile

If you read the audiophile magazines, these headphones are worse than the competition. I waited a long time and spent my money on cheaper alternatives because I hadn’t seen a really great review of them. But I was only reading the opinions of audiophiles comparing the sound quality. After a lot of money spent on earbud wireless headphones that were technologically inferior, I went ahead and bought these.

If what you are looking for is a wireless earbud headphone system, and not a sound system in your ear, headphones that pair like magic with all your devices, disappear when you’re wearing them (my kids keep asking me why I have my headphones on when I’ve forgotten they were even there for hours), and a seamless technophile experience, 5 stars man. 5 stars.

    Great sound

I've just bought these today after using a pair of wired Bose earphones. The sound is amazing, just as good as from my Bose ones. They are very light though and can feel a little loose in the ears which is why I've given four stars and not five. But I've ordered a paid of silicone tips from Amazon which should sort this out and make them feel more secure. It's a shame Apple don't offer a paid of tips as standard. Other than that little niggle they are excellent, small and powerful and really easy to paid to my iPhone 8 Plus. Another quality product from Apple.

Sound is great, but where do they go?

AirPods - typical of Apple products - have great design style and some good features, but some basic needs are missing.
What if the volume is too loud/soft? Dig the iPhone out of your floppy gym pocket or in the bottom of your backpack.
What if you want to take the AirPods out of your ears for a minute to order lunch? There is no place to put them except loose in your pocket or lose them on a table/counter. Oops - I lost one. Hang on... there it is.
What about putting them in that cool snap case with the neat sync graphic... wait, where is it? Did it fall out of my pocket at the gym again? Ugh. (I put a dorky produce rubber band around the case so it isn't so slippery now.)
Best feature? You can share music with one in your ear, and one in your friend's ear. Apparently, the on/off switch responds to the body's magnetic field or something nifty like that. Overall, I like them, but I prefer my wireless Powerbeats from Apple.

Airpods not ready for Prime Time!

I have had Airpods for less than a year, and I've had the worst experience with them. I have an iPhone 7, which according to Apple is not an issue. While on phone calls my voice will sudden sound like a cartoon to people on the other end, as the sound tried to "catch up". Simultaneously voices on my side sound excessively spaced out, extremely deep, and just outrageous. I can't even understand what is being said.

Another problem is that while I'm listening to music my Airpods stop playing music, and replace it with air. The song is still playing on my iPhone, but no sound is coming through. Amazing! Maybe that's the "feature" I paid for of Airpods playing air! In order to get them to work you need to disconnect your Airpods, and then reconnect them. Thank you Microsoft for teh lesson with Windows. I thought you were better than that Apple?!

I visited an Apple store to try and resolve my issue, and the following was done:

    1. Switched out the Airpods
    2. Got a refurbished phone from Apple

All the problem still exists. I have no way of getting this situation resolved. Apple should refund everyone's money, and not make their customers Beta testers for their products.

This has been my most DISAPPOINTING Apple purchase ever. I never thought I would say that I got buyers remorse from a product they created, and yet here I am having buyer's remorse.

I went back to my Bose headphones, because at least they can "stay connected".

Maybe Apple will create a press release about their failed delivery, and then charge people $29.99 (remember the expanding batteries) for an upgrade to Airpods that work. imagine charging people for something you paid for expecting it to work the first time. AMAZING!

    They’re okay

I love the fit yes, however I don’t like the battery life is so short. After buying 3 sets of the wireless beats headphones and all 3 stopped working on the right side and not getting any help with them even though I only had two pairs for approximately 3-4 months and the last one only 2 months I was hesitating buying the apple AirPods but I did and they’re okay. Nothing special.

    Worst execution by Apple ever.

Extremely hard to establish connection. They don’t work as they are supposed to. Its a complete hassle to get them to connect. Then randomly one will connect and the second one won’t. No matter if you reset them. Pair and unpair them. Great idea but it does not deliver. This explain why they took so long to hit the market. It they worked they would be a great product. Very disappointing. It’s not in line with how apple products just work effortlessly with each other. Spend more time trying to make them work than using them. Nice design. Weak performance.

    Truly Amazing Experience

I have had these AirPods for about 3 months and I gotta say they are a game changer. I use them for my iPhone, iPad Pro and MacBook Pro and they are the only pair of headphones I need. They even pair to my Apple TV! Now I can watch shows while my significant other sleeps and not bother her with noise. They are truly remarkable. My parter likes them so much she keeps taking mine and plans on buying her very own. If you are an apple fan who owns many apple products, then these are a must buy.

Not effortless and not for all ears

I’ve had these for about a year. Although I like the compact size and practical design with the rechargeable case, I have 2 big issues, first they do not always connect “effortlessly” as apple advertises, my wife gets upset at night because I have to fiddle with the buds and the case and make clicking sounds that wake her up to get them to connect to my ipad pro. Second, they fall out of my ears constantly, Apple needs to make different sizes! Not all ears are the same. I can only use them at home or in bed, never for any kind of activity because they don’t stay in.

After reading so many reviews on the AirPods, I really bad no idea whether to buy them or not. After finally purchasing them and getting a chance to try them out firsthand, I was amazed of how great they work. Trust me, unless you're a hardcore headbanger, these things are not coming out. They may feel a little loose but they will not fall out and you can just easily readjust them. The sound quality is exactly if not better than the regular apple earphones. If you're looking for a truly wireless, durable, nice-sounding, and in my opinion, stylish, get these AirPods.

Connection to iPhone cuts out randomly

When I'm listening to music or on the phone (like a conference call for work) the AirPods randomly cut out and stop working. I have to pull them out of my ear, change the phone to speaker or phone, and then put them back in my ear. Really annoying. The supposed benefit is to not have to pull your phone out but yet I have to because it drops the connection so often.

I don’t expect to love them

I got these because I didn’t like the microphone clarity of my expensive Jabra ear buds. I loved everything else about the Jabras though. But now that I have had the Apple AirPods; I LOVE THEM !!

They are crystal clear for my music. They don’t block my ears. They are amazing for phone conversations. They stay in my ears perfectly, which completely surprised me.

Absolutely Awesome. I’m going tonight to buy a set for my wife.

    Great product

I purchased my AirPods as soon as they became available, I’ve had them for one and a half years and I love them. I’m a woman with small features, , and they don’t fall out of my ears regularly, every now and then one might, but it’s not a big deal to me as it happens so rarely. I cannot believe anyone would scream “sexism” about a pair of wireless headphones. My husband (who is ridiculously discerning about headphones and sound in general) was so impressed with the clear sound while on the phone with me that he ordered himself a pair. They connect great, with the usual Bluetooth disconnecting issue very rarely occurring. Please don’t let the numerous reviewers who lost their AirPods and then blame the product for being hard to find influence you. These are small and sleek and wonderfully untethered to you when wearing-you have to be an adult and make sure you know where you put them, like you would be for any small and valuable belonging.

    Works for the right ear

Falls out of my ear when I run. Sound is weak unless I am somewhere with no surrounding noise. Good for business calls, other than that I bought the Bose ear buds and they are way better. I regret buying these, I seldom write a review but these bother me.

    Love it but....

What I love about the AirPods is that you can do anything for example call and listen to music. But what I dislike is that the AirPods that there small, they can slip without knowing. Also, you can lose them easily if your not careful. I have my own pair of AirPods and I personally I’ve lost them a few times. If your thinking to buy AirPods just make sure you don’t lose them. I’m writing this review because I’ve Officially lost mine and I’m going to buy another pair.

    Great Product

I don't think that this product is a good fit for everyone. Personally the earbuds fit perfectly for me. I was once a Beats by Dre type of gal but because I used them specifically for the gym the leather started to smell. The AirPods are much lighter and overall work better with the type of training I do. I highly recommend this product but definitely take advantage of the return policy. Make sure they're a good fit.
