Apple Knock's it out of the Park.

Wow, Apples AirPods are phenomenal. I have been using them now for a few weeks.

They really did a great job with this product. Very small profile with good range from the playing device if needed. It's seamless interfacing and long battery life with very good sound. Plus you can start and stop what's playing from the AirPods themselves and they automatically change to a phone call and back to what's been playing.

    I'm very impressed.

    Great job Apple engineers!!!

    air pod use

Talk time on iPhone is about 1.5 hrs. other than that a perfectly usable product. Apple seems to have a problem delivering product after announced.

    AMAZING

I absolutely love my AirPods! They are so easy to use. It is difficult to go back and use my other Bluetooth headphones. The AirPods are exceptional!

    Best Wireless headphones ever.

I have many many wireless headphones from the popular vendor, but no one is even close to Apple's AirPods. They are simple, light weight and easy to use across all Apple devices.

My future expectations from the next version.
    1. Water proof.
    2. Volume control on AirPods.

Quality Product Competitively Priced with good price/performance balance

Took a while to get, but worth the wait. Bought 2 pair, one for me, one for my wife. Typical Apple build quality. I found them to be everything Apple claims they are. Pairing with my iPhone was seamless. Once paired with my iPhone the AirPods showed up as choices in the Bluetooth listings on my other devices, but connecting with my MacBook required pressing the pairing button on the AirPod case. Same scenario with the 2nd pair and my wife's devices. Once paired though, you're done. No pairing and repairing when you switch between devices. To my ear, the sound is crisp and clear and every bit as good as a pair of Bose ear buds I bought some time back for $215. I've had no issues with comfort or them falling out of my ears. Downside is the user guide - sparse (hence 4 stars). It assumes everything goes OK and there is no guidance if it doesn't - for example, having to press the pairing button to connect to my MacBook. I found that out by trial and error. Also, there is some amount of customization that can be done, and a lot of functional control through an Apple Watch if you have one that is not obvious. Lots of "how too" videos on YouTube though. That aside, I am VERY happy with the product and its performance.

    Perfect for Travel

I fly quite often for work, and am constantly on a train or airplane, and my AirPods work FLAWLESSLY in those noisy environments! The slim design and portability make it perfect for traveling in tight spaces such as Economy seating, and they do a decent job of blocking out background noise as well. Best type of headphone to have, as opposed to bulky over-the-ear ones with cords and straps. Very impressed!

Good for music listeners (and not for music producers)

Nice designed and packaged headphones. Very comfortable for music listening. However sound quality is not better than on standard EarPods (it's even worst). They will not work for you, if you produce music on iOS – the lag is too big (nearly 1 sec., so real-time playing is not possible). Before you buy, keep in mind: you will be cordless/wireless with headphones, but you will need an extra available pocket every day to keep the headphones' rechargable and fragile case.

    Airpods are a must-have!

I was concerned that AirPods were too pricey, but I bought them and I love them! I've owned them since March and haven't had a single issue with them. The Bluetooth connection drops very occasionally, but joins right back seconds later. Fit-wise, if the EarPods stay in your ear with no issue, AirPods will stay in even better! I'll never go back to corded headphones again.

    Not great

Signal quality issues especially when the phone is in my pocket.

Also have had ear buds get out of sync and cannot figure how to re sync them.

There also needs to be an easier way to repair the pods with a phone after using them on a laptop.

    Couldn't live without them

I simply love them. So easy to use, so confortable.
I see wired headphones now and see them as obsolete.

    Well worth the money.

Amazing for calls - voice quality and microphone awesome .

    Good.....if you can afford them.

To summarize, the Airpods are fantastic. They have a nice fit, a pretty decent sound quality and a very low noise floor. There is no noticeable leaking or sqealing, like with many of my previous apple ear buds. The connectivity is seamless, and the pairing process couldn't be more simple. However, while the battery is OK, it's certainly not the advertised amount, Siri needs a little work, the microphone quality isn't stellar, and the case gets scratches rather easily. So, in the end, if you can afford them, go for it. It's a cool item, a decent pair of IEM's and a very polished experience. But if you can't, there are certainly a wealth of options for you such, as Jay birds wireless ear buds, which are cheaper, waterproof, and fit better.

    Beautiful and easy

As advertised, they just work! Have not had a problem at all with connectivity and switching between iPhone, iPads and Mac is seamless and so easy.

    Very Useful!

The sound is very clear (way better than headphones), AirPods are perfect for workouts because they don't fall out, and I really like that they are easy to use and contact Siri with.

    Peace in the bedspace

Simple solution to leaving the Apple TV on when partner wants to go to sleep. I get the volume and he doesn't get annoyed. Couple that with a sleep timer and you only need to be sure you don't lose them come morning.

    average

I got this head phone today, it paired with my iPhone , MacBook pro and iPod - right away, that's the good part. It doesn't weight that much, fit in my ear perfectly. it charge very quickly and last long time but not like beats. Here is coin pant, I am very disappointed with sound quality. 159 + tax you expect more , I am bose and beat user - so I'm comparing with bose. Its not that crispy. Its has noice cancelation - that's a good part. I like it looks and when you take off 1 from your ear- it stop the music- I like that part. Any way over all - I do not recommend to other, better to go for bose.

    Casing Terrible

The casing was in my pocket for 1 hour as i commuted back from the office to my home. The uncalled headphones are great however when i went to retrieve the box from my pocket it was all scratched and scrapped. However you might think that i had keys or change in my pocket..... i did not as i did not want my brand new purchase to have any chance of damage so it was left alone in my pocket. Outer polished design does not stand up to even the most careful of commutes - got scraped and stuffed on way home in my pocket from external factors - design improvement required.

    Way better than I expected.

Just returned my Bose QC30 because it kept falling off my neck and was prepared to get an LG infinim. Was pleasantly surprised to find that Best Buy had them in stock, in store and what's best is that I still have about $200 in store credit from the exchange. Tried them out at home and was immediately impressed by the connectivity, range and sound quality. They're very light weight and fit comfortably in ear. I'm very impressed so far.
