got'em because I love apple, kept them because they're great!

I own everything apple from the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and the MacBook Pro. The AirPods are revolutionary in that the connectivity is seemless between my arsenal of apple products. While there are some complications with them staying in my ears while jogging or running, my normal daily routine gives me no issues whatsoever. Sometimes, to the extent that I forget that they're in my ears. It took me minimal time to get use to operating Siri to control the playback and volume. I was also pleasantly surprised at the audio quality and the short turn around on charging times. This is the first generation of an Apple product that will change not only the way we look at headphones but the way we interact with our devices and the world around us. Simply put I recommend these AirPods!

    Easy come easy go

Was excited to get something I could pop in or out so easily and use only one when getting a quick call...But these things turned out to be a complete nuisance, constantly falling out. I had my set less than 4 weeks before losing the first one. I feel asleep in a plane seat, sitting perfectly still, the music shuts off because it's out of my ear. I wake up and its no where to be found. What a waste of $160. Too expensive for the quality in general, and way too expensive to throw away after a month. I found another wireless headset that hangs around my neck with the in ear "wing". Hardly ever falls out, but when it does, its right there around my neck.

the best bluetooth headphones for business and private use

I got the AirPods as soon as they got out, pairing with my apple devices was seamless, out of the box after few seconds I was on the go, changing what device I want to use it with is also just a simple selection on the device itself (I use it with my apple watch, mac book air, mac mini, iPhone and iPad) never had any problems switching between any of them ..... also what I love about the AirPods is the fact that I can take out one during a FaceTime or phone conversation, charge it, continue on one side and in 5 min almost fully charged I can replace the other one charging it while I can continue the conversation on the newly charged one ... when needed during podcast or music listening I can remove one and deal with the "outside world" as the sound will pause immediately ... than when I am ready placing it back the sound restarts automatically ... this is definitely the best Apple invention from 2016 .... if you don't have one but use regularly your EarPods, get them you will just love the freedom they will offer .. no cables, no accidental tearing out from your ears, keep your device in your bag or pocket .. .its just amazing :-)

    Better than I imagined

I bought the AirPods thinking they would not really work well individually and the battery would probably be a challenge. Boy was I wrong! The AirPods do everything as advertised! The sound is good with one and great with both. I have had other "wireless" headphones but they don't compare. One of the better purchases I have made.

If you are constantly on con calls with work you can't to better!

The W1 low latency chip makes these first BT headphones which do not have a lag, delay or echo on your voice and WebEx and Skype business calls from MacBook Pro AND you iPhone 7. You can make crystal clear calls while you drive, work at home or do a presentation on WebEx over the internet in a busy airport. This was undoable even with a wired headset. Trust me I am 1K on United and constantly on the go while running a remote team. Just killer. You can find much better headphones for MUSIC for sure! This is not what these are for.

For WORK calls WebEx on the go and your voice pickup and call quality, there is nothing even 30% good as this! Nothing, I wasted hundreds of dollars on LG, Jabra, this that and the other.

    Excellent...be patient!

I was on the fence when I first purchased these for the first few days. Then about 7-10 days into the purchase they kept dropping connection with my phone, but not my laptop. I waited and Apple came out an update that fixed all the connection issues.

I'm a huge fan of these now and wear them almost every day. I travel a lot for work and these are fantastic for travel!

    Expect the unexpected

The first time I saw the commercial of this product, I said to myself I will never get this AirPods. Reasons? 1.) I never use apple headphones because they don't fit in my ear and they always fall, and the sound is just like a regular cheap headphones you can buy for less than $10.00 that's why I always buy different headphones. 2.) It looks silly. It looks like you left a bended cotton buds in your ear.

BUT.. when I saw a friend wearing the AirPods, I asked him how is it. And the only word he said is, "It's worth the penny."

I have the Beats Solo. I like the sound. But I am not an over the head speaker kind of guy so I get a different headset.
I have the LG Tone Infinim with Harman/Kardon signature sound... and it sounds great. the only thing I don't like is the neck brace and there are a lot of imitations of this type of headset.
I also have the Plantronics BackBeat FIT which sounds great too.. been using this one for more than 3 years now and realized I have to retire this one. So I bought the BeatsX earphones. This one frustrates me because the sound is just like a regular headset. Nothing incredible.

So I decided why not try the AirPods which my friend loves and recommends.

And when I first used it. The only word I said was "WOW'. Wow because the sound is amazing, it fits great in my ear compare to other apple earphones, easy connectivity, easy to use, and THE SOUND IS WOW.

    LOVE IT.

    Ease of Use!!!!

I love these headphones. Because i wear a head covering I must be sure it has not fallen out of my ear, but people can hear me better when wearing my AirPods than with the phone to my ear. I normally wear Bose earbuds but love the transition to AirPods.

    Needs improvement

They stay in my ears when I run but frustrating because using Siri to operate them is a joke. I say volume down and it is hit or miss with Siri. Sometimes it works but many times it does not. Yesterday while running Siri called my son in Philly, I'm in CA. I panicked but couldn't' get the call stopped. Very disrruptive and stressful during morning run. I thought the stress around these was going to be the "will they really stay in my ear" issue. Disappointed for $159.

Was ordering a band for my watch, and I happened to notice these were in stock. Picked them up, and have been amazed ever since. These are great for the gym, work, or around the house. Connects to phones, watch, and macs like a charm. Well done apple

    Great sound, pairing is slick

Fit is the only negative here, the left one wants to fall out constantly. Great for calls and music, the gym or activity is iffy. The pairing process and automatic linking to other iCloud devices is very slick and seamless. Love the case as a charger too.

    Air duds

Apple promoted this product to be something amazing. However the fact of the matter is this is one of the worst products Apple has ever made. The sound quality while listening to music is good. That's the only upside to this product. You must keep your phone close by when making or receiving a call as the AirPods continuously disconnects in mid conversation. The pods go in and out of connection so frequently that it easier to hold your phone than use them. The purpose of buying a bluetooth product is to be hands free. With this product you will spend more time reconnecting to your devices defeating the purpose of having bluetooth. After waiting 6 weeks and spending $170.00 i wouldn't recommend anyone purchase this product until some major bugs have been worked out.

Freedom from the tyranny of cords

According to a very unscientific study that I just made up, the average person will spend a total of 1.5 years of their life untangling cords for headphones. These marvelous AirPods just saved me from that fate. The only thing that would make them more perfect would be if Apple could figure out how a user could change the volume easily by running one's finger up or down one AirPod. Loudly and clearly asking Siri to do that is socially awkward and doesn't usually work very well.
