The AirPod's sound quality is quite good for wireless earbuds, and the battery life is also incredible. I used the pods 3 hours a day for a week without ever charging the battery case that they come with. They are overall a great product especially if you have a lot of new Apple to pair with them. Would recommend to anyone that exercises while listening to music or people who talk on the phone a lot.

    Fits well

My biggest concern when getting this product was that they weren't going to stay in my ears well. I can have these in, sweating, and they stick perfectly fine in my ears. I bought a pair for my mother as well for Christmas and she loves them. She wears them while mowing and working out. This is a great product and I can't wait to see how they build off of this.

    Unreadable print

I wish Apple would understand that style does not always win over substance. I have just opened the instructions to discover that not only are they written in tiny print but also in pale grey on white. Some of us no longer have the eyes of 28 year-olds so I will need to seek out the help of some youngster to discover how to work them. No stars for the instructions but one is the minimum permitted.

For the first month of having these I was sceptical as to whether they were worth the money but 5 months on I have no doubt the are worth it! A couple of occasions I have run out of battery because i was listening with both earphones in for a long period, however you get used to popping on back in the case for a while. The battery in the case seems to last forever too!

Best wireless headset in the market. Period.

I talk on the phone all the time because of my job's nature. I have tried about 50 different wireless headsets before I encountered this one. No question it is the best wireless headset ever designed.

Bought these thinking maybe I would use them a little, use them all the time for my music and think they are excellent, paired straight out of the box and have had no issues at all, love them, what's not to like

    Best Headphones

These are amazing headphones/earphones. I have ran numerous half and full marathons with several different headphones corded and wireless. Never before have I had headphones so good. They were extremely comfortable and secure. They did not fall out or feel as if they were loose or falling out. It was hot humid disgusting conditions and they were great battery life sound quality I really cannot believe or say enough positive things. The case was small and able to fit in with my running gear it wasn't heavy or hard to bring with me. making stops at water stations and to take pictures I took headphones in and out and putting them back in they were as secure as when i first put them in. I would highly recommend these to anyone who is looking for great sound, comfortable and wireless listening.

These air pods are revolutionary. The fact that you can put an earpiece in your ear, set your phone down, walk out of the house while listening to music or answering a phone call blows my mind. Wow. Most impressive product I've seen Apple introduce.

    Love my AirPods!

These are fantastic. Sound quality is excellent, recharge on case works beautifully, never had any issues with them falling out or moving in my ears. I have used a lot of different types of earphones and these are by far the best!

    Nearly perfect

These things are great and they never fall out. For me, they don't always work. I'd say about 90% reliable. Some calls don't answer on the AirPods. The Bluetooth screen shows they are connected, but the call is actually on the iPhone. Still better than not having them. Problem solving with support takes a very long time.

Okay but not my first choice.

I really love all of Apple and their products thus far but they can't please everyone, this time it was me. I got them and used them for a few minutes before I noticed they simply didn't fit my ear properly. The sound was fine, the design was sleek, but the fit wasn't perfect. They fell put a few times when I simply angled my head straight down.
When I explained this to an employee they were more than helpful in getting me a different brand of wireless headphones and I love the Bose headphones they showed me.
All around an excellent display of customer service and care.

perfect... and they stay in my ear really well

I was a little bit hesitant about how well these would fit. The EarPods never fit me well- and would fall out of my ear all the time.
These however ARE PERFECT. They stay in and feel so light I don't even know I'm wearing them.

The sound quality is great; talking on phone calls works really well too. They can hear me perfectly. They pari with my iPhone 5s easily. Sometimes they don't reconnect so I have to go through the bluetooth settings. But that's the same with my car hands-free(probably my phone at fault there). Pair with my mac as well - although the ear detection doesn't pause music when removed.

Hands down best earphones I have owned.

A great old fashioned Apple Product

These are a remarkable and insanely great product. Their size and functionality are an exceptional combination, making this a truly unique and transformative product. The huge difference between the pleasure one gets from using them and the lukewarm reviews from the so-called "Tech press" is vast. It just shows how the Tech Press forgets how to gush about a product they have not been paid to gush about.
This product also makes you long for the days when Apple truly did produce products that could be insanely great and were consistently the best in their class. They have the resources and profits to do so much more and have somehow decided to do less and less. I think Mr. Cook has become a slave to keeping his quarterly margins insanely high. Think Different, Tim!

My major complaint is that they only come in one color, but they cannot make enough of them as it is...

    Love My AirPods!

I was an early adopter (bought my AirPods the day they became available for sale in the U.S., received them the day after Christmas), and can truthfully say I use them every single day. They are fantastic! Sound quality is pretty much exactly the same as standard iPhone earbuds, and they fit really well- I never feel like they're falling out, and I even run and do jumping jacks and such with them in when I work out. I use them at my desk at work all day long to listen to music, and it's really fun when people can't tell right away that I have them in. I've gotten a lot of people stopping me on the street and asking me how I like them, and I always give them the honest reply: highly recommend!!

I have been waiting for truly wireless earbuds since I first saw Ryan Reynolds with pretend, made-up ones in a movie called Definitely, Maybe. At the time it was just one of those things that a movie had imagined, but I wanted it to be a reality! Over the years, every time a "wireless" Bluetooth set of earbuds came onto the market, I'd try them out eagerly, but the sound quality was either really poor and tinny, or they wouldn't stay in my ears properly, or they would have a really uncomfortable band around my head or something. The AirPods were just what I've been waiting for for over a decade, and I am not disappointed!!!

AAAwesome quality - totally reached my expectations

Ok, first things first. I'm not a pro when it comes about ear buds, heck, I don't think I might be a pro about anything but I do have my own expectations about things I purchase and Apple AirPods didn't let me down. I specifically bought them for my Saturday runs. I'm synching a preferred playlist on my Apple Watch Series 2, grab those AirPods and I'm good to go. I'm a pretty stubborn fella and since it's set in my mind to do my workout on Saturdays regardless of the weather, even though last Saturday 04/29 was some horrible weather in Chicago, cold, windy ( -Doh!!! ) and aggressive rain, being all soaked up for a full 1hr + until I finished my regular 10k apparently was no problem at all for my shinny new AirPods outstanding those conditions and on the contrary, they worked perfectly as leakproof lids for my ears lol ( kept all the rain and wind out of my ears without getting harmed in the process or the sound being affected in any way, that's actually pretty impressive considering I took a risk there, not being advertised by Apple as waterproof ) so they're definitely water & sweat resistant at least for that 1hr + I used them for my run ( of course, now I'm gonna say: -Don't do this at home! ;)p ). What else.., hmm.., ohh, I'm happy with how good the sound is as well - if you like your ear buds to be really loud than they're not for you, as they're just loud enough for the majority of the people, I would say, and I totally fit in that category ( I also think they might not be extremely loud in order for the quality of the sound to be the same good regardless of the volume you'll use - they'll have no distortions wether you'll use them at min or max volume. All in all, they're totally worthy of the pennies you'll eventually invest in them as I already did so and don't forget they're Apple so if you'll not want to upgrade to a newer model in the near future that's not gonna be a problem, I'm absolutely positive they'll serve you well for years to come. Ohh, I forgot to mention about the battery life, so I ran with them 1hr plus in chilly, windy + aggressive rainy-ish conditions, I started my run with the battery for both of them being at 100% and when I got back home both of them were at 68% ( the music was listened at max volume the whole time ) and so I would say they're definitely and easily meeting the advertised listening amount of hours in normal weather conditions and ( or ) use if not even more. Alrighty then, that's it, I'm outta here, see ya next Saturday my dear AirPods. Happy AirPods listening time to all of you Apple fans out there.

I ordered my AirPods five weeks ago and picked them up at my local Apple Store this morning. I've used them all day today. I am blown away at how impressive these little jewels are. The sound quality is great, especially when on calls. I can hear the other line loud and clear and they say they can hear me clearly as well. Connecting and going back and forth from my iPhone 6 to my iPad Mini 4 is seamless. I love how the battery charge status shows up automatically on my notification screen. Not just for the charging case, but also for each AirPod! They charge super fast and the charge lasts plenty long enough. The charging case is pretty much magical, I've never seen anything as efficiently designed. I have slightly larger ears than the average person, yet these stay perfectly in place and don't move, even when I'm laying back in a recliner. Sooo comfortable! Not having to deal with any cords at all is a blessing. When I'm listening to music and someone comes up to me to talk, all I have to do is take one AirPod out and the music stops, then starts up automatically when I pop it back in my ear. If you're on the fence about buying these, in my opinion they are worth every penny.

Looks terrible, great functionality and sound

I love the functionality but unfortunately I’m taking mine back because they just look too stupid. Every time I catch a glimpse in a passing window I look like someone’s Aunt Bea with clip-on earrings and I just cringe.

My other frustration after a couple weeks is having to choose between Siri OR stop/play functionality on the double-tap. You have to be able to discreetly touch your ear to stop your music — otherwise every time you walk up to a cashier or whatever you’re the dork who’s tapping your ear and saying “Siri stop” – it’s beyond lame. But if you only have stop/play activated, you can no longer activate Siri from the AirPods, and having Siri in your ear is pretty cool.

The obvious and intuitive solution is for Apple to just let us customize single, double, and triple-tap functionality ourselves. For me, my choice would be single-tap to stop/play, double for next, and triple to activate Siri.

The sound for me is pretty much exactly the same as the EarPods — obviously there can’t be a lot of bass, but it’s fine for walking, working out, etc.

The other thing to know is that gravity plays a huge part in the AirPods ability to stay in your ear, because they don’t have the downward pressure of the wires. That also means that you can’t wear them lying down, because they’ll fall out of your ears — frustrating when I’m watching TV, doing a meditation app, etc.

I have Airbnb guests so I try to stay quiet around the house, and the ability to easily switch between my Apple TV, iMac, iPad in total silence is really cool. When I first opened the AirPods and my iPhone woke up and showed them as connected I practically wept.

But it’s already a struggle for me not to look like an idiot, and I just can’t justify paying money to make me look like more of one.

    Great product, Terrible when lost.

Let me start off by saying that I love AirPods, they are not only good headphones but they pack a lot of incredible technology inside such a small devices, such as they auto pause feature when pulling the buds from your ears. Unfortunately with such small devices, they can be lost much easier than something such as EarPods. During a School trip I took, I discovered I lost one of my pods (Something I never thought would happen). I immediately took out my iPhone and activated Find my AirPods, but apparently it was too late. I don't even see the point of such a feature if it won't work correctly. The AirPod wasn't missing for more than 10 minutes, and I still couldn't find using the feature. In conclusion these are very easy to lose, don't count on the Find my AirPods feature at all. Besides that they are a great product.
