    Effortless Simplicity

If you think that these are "just the EarPods that come with my phone," you are incorrect. These are so much better. They sound great, are super comfortable, and the battery is exceptional for something so small. The ability to jump from device to device without having to repair is genius and another reason why these make total sense if you are in the Apple ecosystem. Additionally, I really enjoy being able to use just one AirPod at a time while cleaning or if I am laying on my side and watching a video. If you are looking for awesome in ear headphones, look no further.

    Exceeding expectations

These AirPods have been submerged a number of times and continue to work. The other day the right ear bud got knocked out of my ear by a branch into a river. I was able to retrieve the ear bud from about 5 feet of water (after about 10 minutes) and it still works! Worth picking up a pair.

    Wonderful out of box experience

I opened the case, held it next to my iPhone, and I'm immediately listening to my podcasts. I get home, open my MacBook Pro and the AirPods already appear as a selectable audio output in the volume menu, and then I easily switch over to listening to my music. These headphones are amazingly easy to set-up. Pretty good range also, as I was able to walk in to the next room without my music being interrupted.

I was sceptical as to whether they would stay in my ears, and so far so good. I would prefer sound isolation, but the sound quality of the headphones is good. The charging case is small enough to easily carry in the pockets of my jeans. The microphone seems to be working nicely enough with Siri. I like how the audio is paused if I remove one of the AirPods, but I do miss having volume control. Siri's pretty good, accepting phrases like "reduce volume to 30%", but for that to be useable I have to enable Siri on the lock screen and I can't do that without risking a phone thief getting some access to my details. Overall, no regrets.

I never expected to call a pair of earphones elegant, but the way these work is superb. I love the charging case, how easy they are to pair, and the fact that once you super easily pair the AirPods with one Apple device, they are paired to your Mac, iPad, and iPhone without doing anything to your others devices. Love the way when you remove one, it pauses the music and begins it again when you reinsert the AirPod in your ear. I love the way flipping the case open with them near your iPhone pops up a graphic showing you how much the AirPods are charged and how much the case is charged.

The fidelity is great and they stay in my ear better that the EarPods that come with your iPhone.d

And I really like the fact that they appear in the Find Your iPhone app and you can play a sound through them to find them.

A Must Have With iPhone 7

I got these after recently getting an iPhone 7 and struggling with charging and listening to music so I took the plunge and splashed out on these and WOW was I impressed. Instant connectivity with all devices - although a little more frustrating with Apple watch initially. Very comfortable in ears - slightly better than that of the wired headphones - as well as brilliant battery life. Good sound quality, however, bass lacks a little at low volumes however sufficient at increased volume. One slight complaint in the opening mechanism of the case becoming dirty quickly and difficulty cleaning but only a minor issue.

    I love these airpods

I just purchased these on Saturday at AT&T, you can get them for 6 monthly installments no extra charge. I love them so much , I'm selling my Bose quiet comfort 35 on Ebay , the headphones do sound better , but these are close and much smaller and easier to carry anywhere you want to use them.

Miss 1 star due to 2 things

I am impressed with the sound, the battery life and the technology behind it. However what I dislike
    1. I do not think it's worth AU$230
    2. The AirPods casing scratches so easily, after 4 days in my pocket, it looks like I had it for months.

Lastly not sure how long the hinge will last ... :D

    More Utility Than 'Normal' Headphones

Airpods let you listen to music or talk on the phone in situations that were previously not practical.

    For example:
    + while sleeping
+ sharing one ear with someone on a phone call or on a walk
    + Rockclimbing
    + etc.

It just opens the door for a wider range of activities without teathering your phone to your arm or pocket. You have the freedom to leave your phone on the table while you can dance and roam free without a cord. I would strongly prefer airpords over bluetooth headphones that are wired together because the Airpods let you share the audio with someone else. Its freeing.

Plus the case is just awesome.

    Beyond Imaginable

All I can say is WOW!!! These are the single greatest pair of ear buds I own. The AirPods look just like the wired ones, minus the cord. They fit even better than the wired ones and do not fall out when you're doing activities! They come in a very sleek white case, which, if you flip open the top, they pair to your Apple Device! How cool is that! No more messing around in settings to connect these headphones. The case also charges the headphones so you have 100% charge every time you use them. One of the coolest features is that when you're listening to something and you take one out, the AirPods pause the music. And when you put it back in, they continue to play. They hold their charge very well and I can often go 3-4 days without having to recharge the case. Worth the money!

Couldn't believe I got some in store

I walked into the Apple Store in Brussels to get a new iPhone 7, I happened to ask if they had any AirPods in stock and to my surprise they did so I picked up a pair there and then. You never know just pop in and ask, I was so lucky. Pairing is great, music is great and talking on the phone is awesome, my friend didn't even know I was talking to him through them. Well worth the surprise purchase.

These are great but dont always feel secure without skin/cover to hold in

Replaced my Beats by Dre with these since beats have a cord around back of your neck which was annoying. These are pretty cool and sync pretty quick with my iPhone when opening the case. They also charge in the case which is charged by a charging cable used for iPhone. The one issue I had with these as stand alone is that they do not feel secure in the ears all by themselves. I had to buy a cover for each pod which will allow for the stability in the ear a bit better. Right now, when running on a treadmill, they feel as though they may fall out and do not feel 100% secure. I recommend buying the cover to get a tighter fit. However with this cover, they do not fit inside the charging case so that is sort of a pain. Other than that the sound is flawless and they are an excellent product!

    Great, when they work

I think the vast majority of people who own these Apple Airpods will have a love/hate relationship with them. First, the good; WOW! A tiny marvel of engineering. Instant sync with most devices. No clumsy routines for connecting to Bluetooth. It just works. Clever idea to use the transport case as a recharge station. Nice concept, and they hold a charge for a good while. Very fast recharge time, too. Lightweight, you don't even know they're in your ears. Sound great, not phenomenal, but good enough to differentiate between the highs and the lows. It's also a nice feature to make them trackable in case you loose one or both. Inexpensive, considering what else is out there.

Now for the not so good; they drop constantly, which makes listening for me, especially new age and classical music, maddening. SIRI, for me, she just doesn't get it. She can't comprehend basic commands, such as "resume last song", or "skip to the beginning of the album". No volume or start/stop controls on the Airpods themselves. This is a major issue for me. I either have to try to make SIRI understand exactly what I want - frankly embarrassing in a public place, or pull out my iPhone, open it, then change it. That's really annoying, especially since most of the time I'm jogging while I'm listening. Like the first iPhone, it's a great first effort, however, it needs refinement, polish. Wouldn't be nice if Apple really listened to the reviews...
