    Alright i guess...

I got these with my iPhone 7 back in like September, and they worked for a while really well, but back in May, the right one stopped working, and then the left one stopped too in September of that next year. I guess you could say they lasted about a year, but not well. I want to know if its apples fault or my fault for being too rough with them. Considering how well my other apple products are, i would have expected them to last longer. Its not just the EarPods with Lightning connecter, it was also the EarPods using the Headphone jack too. Maybe Apple can make the headphones stronger.

    Drains battery

I bought these new headphones that connect directly to the charger part on my phone these headphones are draining my battery really fast and now I can't watch a movie and charge my phone at the same time while at work. We need to have options whether we want the old headphones that plug into the headphone jack or the new style. I prefer the old ones.

    Pretty much possesses your phone

I only really started to use these headphones on a daily basis since my adaptor (the dongle) broke about a month and a half ago . Once the left ear stopped working about two weeks ago, it has been screwing around with my phone whenever I plug it in. Sometimes with the headphones plugged in, it will suddenly stop and/or play music, even when I'm not listening to anything and in other apps. Other times it will just suddenly turn in voice control and I've had times when I've said nothing that it will call random people on my phone when this happens. Just today, it sped up all the music that I was listening to until it just shorted out. Now everything is playing at a softer level. Not worth buying this for $29

    Surprising good

Comfort is, you know, they are plastic one so do not expect an miracle.
If they fit to your ear size, could be quite OK.

Sound - fist guess how it is hard to create good sound in such ear pads at all?
From my subjective filling the are fine enought to listening music. They produce clean, balanced sound with fairly good bass.
    What you need more?

Do not but if you have small ears

I got these when I got my iPhone 7 and I would never recommend them to people. Since I have super small ears these do not fit and they ended up cause me so much pain I wanted to cry the EarPods left me with bruised ears. I never expected this from an apple product.

right ear stops working after few months

I am disappointed with these earpods and expected a lot more from Apple. After a few months of use, the right earbuds have completely stopped working. I have looked up repair solutions but I would be unable to open up the earbud without putting it back in place because of its design. I had expected at least a years worth of use out of these but they only lasted a few months of gentle use. As a loyal Apple customer and with the amount of money I put into Apple products, this is frustrating and I am let down.

    Extremely Disappointing.

I used my previous ones for complete two years and they worked perfectly but when I bought these which basically came with iPhone 7 Plus, they hardly last for 2 months only. This poor quality was not expected from Apple at all.

    Terrible

The iPhone 7 has been such a disappointing product... and the headphones that came with it are terrible. Sound quality was average, then one headphone stopped working and now both are gone. Don't buy the iPhone 7 and do not buy these headphones

decent but break after a couple months

ive had these since i got my 7 plus back in October and they worked fine up until about June, they started making weird sounds when the cord wasn't in a certain position and after July they started skipping songs randomly and activating Siri. the sound is alright i suppose and the remote seems to be the first thing to mess up.but i'm happy with the $45 (aud) they cost.

was planning on getting Airpods as the cord and remote or what mess up.until i saw the price. ha! no thanks mate.

    Fragile.

There needs to be a significant price reduction... only one headphone fits the iPhone 7 and it's fragile as h... you really want us to pay 29 dollars for these every two months? Such a shame apple has turned away from quality

Work poorly with an iPhone 7

Apple lightning headphones do not work reliably enough with my iPhone 7 to consider using them for work phone calls or for running. Unbelievably disappointing!!! I've gone through 3 pairs. Half way through the calls you have to go to speaker phone or the lightning connections never makes a solid connection. You can forget about running with them. Again, it's a shame I loved my iPhone 6 with the old "headphone jack" headphones. AirPods are so poorly reviewed I can't justify the price.

Easily broken; my third pair in 7 months

I'm fed up with the new lightning connector earpods. I've gone through three pairs since I got the iPhone 7 back in January, and the third pair just died on me. These headphones do not seem to be able to stand up to daily wear and tear, whereas the old 3.5mm connector earpods were usually good for the life of the phone (not to mention the inconsistent inline controls other reviewers have complained about). If Apple insists on sticking with lightning-only headphones in the future, I'm abandoning the iPhone.

Great sound, but have to replace every two months..

These headphones are the perfect example of planned obsolescence. Although they do sound great, expect to only have them for three to four months max. Dont know how many I've gone through with my iPhone 6 and 7 in the last couple years but it's unfortunate. One ear will go out after about three months in and then its problems from there. When you're paying 700+ for a phone you would think the classic headphones would last longer than half of a year! We'll keep buying though :/

    Longer wire

Apple decided to make their new headphones 6 inches+ longer to cater to the less active or not the middle class and yes it does get in the way. Even better they don't offer the headphones in the old shorter option. Another great company flaw. The earpods do fit the ear well.

Broke right away. Adaptor was glitchy.

These headphone never worked right. Even the adaptor was glitchy when I would try to use other headphones. I want the original back.

    Worst Headphones I've had

If I could give these less than 1 star I would. Seems like a few others have had similar problems. They broke within months, and prior to them finally going they would make siri go crazy, skip songs, stop playing. So frustrating when you spend so much money on a phone/product.

    Broke after a few months

Very disappointed that they broke after a few months. The part that connects to the lightening port just snapped off from the the rest of the earpods chord. It looks like this happens a lot. and unfortunately even with the bad review, i'll probably still buy another pair because I'm not sure what choice i have with the iphone 7. bring back the headphone jack on the iphone!

    Uncomfortable

Anyone else find these earpods to be uncomfortable? They also fall out easily when I am reclining. Do not get me wrong, the sound is good...but...they hurt and won't stay in place. The cheap earbuds from airlines fit my ears better than this style. Apple needs to offer something that will accommodate various ear types. I am very disappointed. Come on, Apple, step up!

    Great, but bad quality...

Love these headphones, and they're actually the only in ear style of headphones I'll use. The only thing that let's these headphones down is the quality, as they randomly stop and disconnect so I have to fiddle with the cable by the lightning port. Shame I'll have to buy another pair...
