    Garbage

This is now my third pair, and they all ended the same with the earbuds not making any sound. I am disappointed, and angry. It is not worth spending 30 dollars on these earphones just so they can fall apart on you on the fourth month of using it. Lower the price for what they are really worth.

    123rd one star review

Second pair in 3 months. Both pairs worked for about a week...both pairs stop working the same way. Anytime the connection is touched the music stops. I would have to unplug and reconnect random amounts and press play. It could be totally connected and when I’d press play the music would come out of the phone speakers!
And it’s not the lint in the female side....thoroughly clean!

    Zero stars if I could.

Smh I bought my phone In November and I just took my earphones out of the box like 3 weeks ago & now I can’t hear anything out of them. These were defective. It’s not fair that I have to buy new ones if the pair that came in the box were defective. I’ve been buying apple devices for a long time and this had never happened.

    Very disappointed with the microphone

I’m on my 3rd pair of Apple earbuds with the lightning connector. Sounds pretty good listening to music, but when using them for phone conversations I get lots of complaints that the other party can’t hear me or I sound far away. I rarely had this problem with the previous buds, but now it’s rare that I can complete a call without pulling them out and putting the phone to my ear.

Good sound quality and design, but only that.

I generally take really good care of my headphones, to the point that I often keep them as I change phones, unfortunately, the ones that came with my current phone got stolen. So I bought these as a replacement about a month or so ago, the reason I decided on these is that the sound quality is really good, the bass is rich and the overall fidelity is better than the one I have tested on some more expensive earbuds, it also helps that the way they are designed helps none of the sound to escape, and they are very comfortable to use.
However, two weeks ago, I was walking, and suddenly the song got paused, so I checked inside my pocket to see if my phone had done that, but it was locked and the screen was blank prior to me taking it out, so I just pressed play again and went about my day without problems. But, eversince that day, they have been doing the same thing, only now, they not only pause the song, but they rewind and change it as well, sometimes they also activate Siri.
It has been getting pretty annoying, as it is more frequent these days. If these get stolen as well, I’m not gonna give a toss about it, and I’ll buy another brands’, even if it means using my adapter, or I’ll just use some old pair.

    Apple Earpods

Hello Apple, I approve on buying your Earpods for any Iphone 7/8. Lately, these Earbuds have become one of the best Earbuds I have ever had.

The product that I chosen is the Earpods for the Iphone. I want to specifically promote that the headphones are the reason the phones are getting sold even more.

I am a 17 year old male Mexican teenager that can't live without music. I always have to have my headphones in class because music helps me stay focus. I have tried a lot of headphones through my whole life and the Apple headphones are one of the best right now. They are easy to put on; they wont fall like most of the Android headphones I have tried. What helped me my freshman, sophomore, and junior year was music. Every teenager needs music, It helps them go through high school because of the stress and anxiety from school, work, and parents. The Apple headphones helped me forget all the drama.

The Apple Earpods Are not your cheap Corner Store headphones, which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other earbud style headphones. They are more expensive than all the other headphones, I will guarantee you they won't disappoint. The Headphones also include a couple of features: a build in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the music and video, and answer. The headphones also come with the Purchase of an Iphone, But if you want to buy the airpods separate they will go around $30.

When I didn't work I used to have to stick to the ones that come with the new Iphone that I got every 2 years, But now I can buy the new and improved Apple headphones every year. I wear my headphones so much that I have a playlist for everyday and everything I do.

    The wash.

The Iphone 7 headphones are so durable. As a rushed, procrastinating, teenager, these headphones are life saving. One day while I was rushing to get my room clean I threw many pieces of clothes in to the dirty laundry bin. Then I walked down to the landry room and threw the load of colored clothes into the washer and went back up to my room to continue to clean. Thirty minutes later I walked back down to the laundry room to get my clothes from the washer and into the dryer. Once the load was done washing and drying, I took it up to my room and started hanging, folding and putting away clothes; I noticed there was a little white plastic string tangled with my socks. Slowly, I pulled out the white, plastic string, and to my surprise it was my brand new headphones. Panicking and little bit scared, I ran to get my phone, plugged the headphones into the phone and played the first song on my playlist. They still worked!
The fact that they were soaked in burning water, whipped around for thirty minutes, whipped around in heat for forty-five minutes, and they still work is pretty astonishing because any other pair of headphones would have broke or not worked. My headphones are perfectly fine, not counting a now permanently curly, messed up, cord.
These headphones are my go to headphones for many reasons. Not only did the headphones survive an intense shower, but the wash and dry had no effect on the sound and volume of the music coming from the headphones; and can still block out annoying people with these amazing Apple headphones. They have a perfect shape that fits into, almost, every ear comfortably.
As an Apple customer for five years, I don't regret for one moment putting all my trust into apple products; but every up has its down. The headphones are great and all, but who came up with the idea to change the plug. I am still a student and, sometimes in class, when the teacher asks us to research something, I have to pull out a whole other, different, pair of headphones. Other than the different plug, these headphones are some of the most durable pair I've ever had, and I've tried a lot of headphones, from Skullcandy, to Beats, to the Dollar Store headphones with the little jelly earbuds. The best part is that they come with the phone already, so if you have them and payed for them, why not use them, and fall in love with them.

    Broken

Really unfortunate because I really like Apple headphones but I have had one ear piece just stop working on TWO pairs within 3 months. These are WAY too expensive to have this happen this often. Really disappointed.

    Apple earpods

Sound is very uneven. Sound good but right earbud is a lot quieter then the left and I had to adjust the side it plays on in settings. Shouldn’t have to do that.

    Lasted a matter of months

I had the problem of my music randomly stopping, pausing, changing songs with about 3 sets of the old style headphones. I hoped Apple had fixed the problem with this new design - however I was wrong and they have lasted a matter of months! I can't use them at all now! Annoyingly, the change from the traditional AUX headphones means I can't just buy any headphones in the shop whilst I wait for a new pair. Really disappointed with Apple.

    Don't waste your money

Instead of making headphones which actually fit comfortably in your ears and isolate sound ($5 Walmart earbuds do a better job of this), Apple compensates by making these super loud.
That combined with the fact that these don't work with ANY device other than certain models of iPhone makes them very disappointing. Your money would be better spent on just about any headphone of the same price.

    Garbage

These headphones don’t work well enough or last nearly long enough without falling apart to warrant spending $30 on them.

    Watch for Ear Damage!!!!!!

They are great until you get a text notification or ring. They will BLAST you out of your seat! Apple has provided NO WAY to control the notifications loudness unless you remember to do it before a text comes in. There's lots of noise about this from other consumers and there is NO FIX.

    Shameful

The EarPods actually work great with my iPhone 8 but I'm giving it one star regardless because I can't use them for my MacBook Pro (Early 2015). Of course Apple had to be pretentious and "try something different" despite the super obvious design flaw. What they need to do is release a Lightning-to-3.5MM adapter (basically the inverse of the one that comes with the newer iPhones), THEN I'll consider changing my review.

Never had a pair last over a year.

Got a pair with my phone. There was an issue with the volume controls after 10 months or so. It kept randomly pausing things. Since it was within a year of buying the phone Apple replaced for free. 3 months later the replacement right earphone and controls stopped working. A couple of weeks later the left earphones stopped working.

Left side stopped working after a couple of months

Similar to the experience of a lot of people here, the left side stopped working after a couple of months of using them. Although they sound good, they absolutely do not last. Not worth it.
