    Incredibly unsatisfied

Was surprised with the iPhone 7! Have had it for a few months. Rarely used the earbuds. And they broke. One doesn't work. I find the same issue with cheap headphones and didn't expect this from Apple made. Hoping for a refund seeing how I've used these less than 10 times.

Stopped Working Properly After a Couple of Months

The right speaker dimmed in volume and quality around two months after I got them. I took good care of them and although you can adjust the left and right speaker levels in settings, it's horribly annoying to always have to switch it back and forth. Plus I have to agree with others, they will not stay in my ears very long.

    Amazing

I love the sound and the length of the wire. I'm only purchasing again because they sadly could not survive the washing machine.

I wish there were more stars for rating

These are by far THE BEST fitting ear phones ever made for my small adult ears. The sound is exceptional! I have four pair of these from various device purchases and everyone of them work perfectly. They never fall out unless my arm snags the cord. People who bring down the star rating because they don't have the same ears as most of us, should just not even rate this product. As for the lightning cable, Apple provides an adapter and it's small so who cares? And someone claiming 40% of the people don't fit them? This just can't be a correct number. Right now my iPod Classic is on loan to a friend and she tells me those ear buds are exceptional, too. I'm saving money as I write this review for wireless pods. WAY TO GO APPLE.

One thing I wish...that my iPhone 7 would have come with lightning ear pods plus the adapter for my other Apple ear phones.

Horrible - Don't stay in my ears!

Like probably 30-40% of people, these do not stay in my ears and fall out - doing nothing! I tried putting them in opposite ears backwards, and they stayed in a little better, but then the sound is muffled.

APPLE - as a dedicated customer, you should offer lightening Ear Buds for those that these do not work for. Shame on you.

    Lighting connection issue

Ran into a problem with my new lighting connected headphones, that I received with my iPhone 7. When I plugged them in no sound? I tired to unplug and plug back in multiple times with no success, I was really surprised and thought something was wrong with the phone. I set them aside and was going to use the dongle. When I flipped the connector 180 º I plugged it back in and they worked, I then tried it in my iPad Air 2 same issue, so I contacted Apple support and they are sending me new set and I am sending this set back to them, thanks Apple!

    Lightning earpods

I use these with my iPhone 7 plus and find they are very comfortable and the sound is very crisp and clear they are certainly the best standard haedphones that come with a phone.

    Lol

People who rated 3 stars in below are clueless. They're the same sound and style as the old earpods. They don't sound different they sound the exact same and these are better than buying $100 beats headphones with the same good sound quality. Open your eyes and ears people.

    Wow

My dad has the old earpods and these actually sound better. You can feel the bass but not in an annoying tickle your ear way. Wish i could give it a 5 star but if i could get this quality without the lighting connector so i can use it on my laptop or nintendo that would be great. Was going to trade them in for the headphone connector but the quality wasn't worth it. LOVE THE NEW EARPODS GOOD JOB APPLE

Apples Needs to Change the Design of Their Earbuds

Just like every other pair of pair Apple earbuds that I've owned these do not fit into my ears and they continue to fall out with the slightest movement. I wish they'd consider changing the design of the earbuds. If this isn't a concern for you then I recommend them because the sound quality is actually good.

    Great sund but bad durability

The quality of the sounds on these headphones are great, I can clearly hear all the low mid and high frequencies. They sound great but don't last long at all! I've had to go through three pairs of these things over the past three months. I listen to my music pretty loudly but the problem is that high volumes can damage the headphones and you can tell if only one of the sides is working. Very annoying having to listen to my music with only one side playing and the other busted. And I keep having to replace them pretty much EVERY month which is expensive!!! Anyone else having this same problem?

Way better than the original EarPods

Purchased these lightning EarPods just out of curiosity and to see how they'd compare to the original EarPods. Let me tell you, they sound amazing! Sound is so clear and crisp, bass is good. Will definitely purchase more pairs.

    Same Quality, Less Perks

Quality is perfectly fine. I don't notice a difference between the old earpods. One huge problem with these is the lack of case! I used to carry my old earpods in my purse and my backpack. The old case was small, easy to use, and stylish. What was the point of getting rid of the case for these new earpods?? They don't even fit in my old case, so now they get tangled up in my bag, and it takes me forever to untangle the knots when I want to use them! Apple: why do you always have to fix things that aren't broken, and remove things that people use????

    Simply awful

and a continued embarrassment to Apple, which stubbornly persists with a design that does not fit -- most surveys that I've seen -- 40% of users, including me. They continually fall out. Apple at its infuriating worst.

    Much Better Than I Anticipated

I had tried the EarPods before and frankly decided they were not worth the effort it took to keep them in my ears. When I got a new iPhone 7 Plus, I decided to try again, mainly to see if I would be willing to try the forthcoming wireless model. Things have changed since the last time I tried the earbuds mainly vastly superior audio output from the iPhone 7 Plus (the stereo speakers are amazingly good) and a digital signal but these are good enough that I have started using the EarPods with Lightning Connector regularly in spite of the fact they still tend to fall out of my ears (thus 4 instead of 5 stars).

In fact they are good enough I am going to trust Tim Cook's word that the wireless EarBuds don't fall out because there is no wire to pull them out and go for the wireless version when they are released.

    Sounds the Same

I'm not hearing a difference. You would think they would have improved the audio quality to justify removing the aux jack.

    OUCH!

The new earbud shape is awful. They are so big and do not fit properly into my ears. After five minutes they became so painful I had to take them out. Definitely not designed for smaller ears.

I personally love these earphones, the sound is crisp and clear! I have tried a wide range of headphones before and believe that this is one of the best! ❤️

    Better Sound Quality

These EarPods sound more crisp and have a deeper bass than the 3.5mm EarPods. I will recommend the lighting EarPods over the 3.5mm EarPods. The only thing I don't like about the lighting EarPods is that it does NOT come with a case. I liked the case because it kept my EarPods from getting tangled and dirty.
