    $300 and already falling apart

    • Written by Zoe B

I have had my Beats Solo 3 for about a year and a half and already the leather is coming apart from the actual headphone. For $300 you'd think that it would last a life time.

    My beats volume

When i turn up my volume on my iphone 5 the volume beats solo3 wireless goes down. When I turn songs by double tapping the b on the left circle the volume goes right back down.

    Fantastic Headset

    • Written by Craig W

Was very pleased to receive the headsets as I’d heard a lot about the quality and sound. I wasn’t mislead. By far the clearest and best sound. Was pleased with the noise reduction when the headset was on. Crystal clear sound and super easy set up. My only fault - carry case is a touch small/tight on headset. Great quality - super impressed!

Overall Great, But Wear Down Quickly

    • Written by Adriana N

Overall, these Beats are amazing. I got them so I can listen to music wirelessly and comfortably and it served its purpose! I couldn't wear them to sleep that's the only time it became uncomfortable. The battery literally lasted me a week. The sound quality is out of this world, but they break down quickly. I have had them for a little over 2 years and the handle on my right ear snapped and the Bluetooth connectivity stopped working within a year and a half of use. The colors are great though I got the rose gold to match my iPhone 6s Plus but I now have the iPhone XS and I'll possibly get some matching ones. They're great but if you're willing to invest in some new ones every 2 years then its good for you.

    Awesome noise cancellation

    • Written by Jessica M

Honestly, some of the best headphones I've had. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because my hair always gets stuck on the headphones and it rips some off sometimes so that's really annoying

    Poor Quality

    • Written by Norbert V

When I first used these headphones, I was immediately impressed. Forty hours of battery life, beautiful design, and very light in terms of weight. However, after using them for nearly six months, now audio is not playing from one side of the headphone. The side also snapped, now just hanging around.

    Pretty great!

    • Written by Anna A

I got these for Christmas and there are great! I use them all the time. There are very comfortable with what feels like memory foam on the ear part. It has great sound but don’t expect it be sound proof cause there definitely not. I got mine in rose gold and it looks exactly like the pictures! Overall they are great headphones for the price!

After many years of struggling to workout with wired earbuds I finally gave up on being able to lift weights and hear my music at the same time. Talk about finding motivation on the squat rack without my tunes even though they sounded inferior on my Sony earbuds. I had been wanting the Beats Solo wireless for a long time and couldn't bring myself to spend the $200+. Enter Christmas money. Today's leg workout and cardio breezed by while fully appreciating Queen's greatest hits. These headphones while not the best sound quality deliver enough bang to justify my investment. I was afraid that they would be uncomfortable for my entire workout but I went from the weight floor to cardio barely noticing I had them on. I did however stretch them overnight on the box they came in. I am now definitely a believer.

very long battery lifetime but not working with cold temperatures

    • Written by Pieter V

The Beats Solo 3 is a very nice and classy headphone! The design is beautiful. Then greatest advantage is the very long battery lifetime. You really can listen 40 houres without charging the battery. There is only one big disadvantage, the headphone turns itself off when the temperature outside is below 0 degrees!! So I can't use my headphone while jogging when it is freezing outside!!!!

    Complete garbage

    • Written by Binh N

I've only wore it for a month before the right headphone started to deteriorate in sound quality, roughly 20% normal volume. I also switched the headphones around to make sure I didn't have hearing problems. Since I had warranty, I went through the process of sending it to Apple for repair and they stated that there were no issues so they sent it back. Again, I'm still experiencing the same problem. How did they not see an issue with it?! It's complete garbage. Worst headphones yet. Going to switch to Sony headphones.

Do not buy. These headphones are trash and a waste of money

    • Written by Eric F

All though these headphones look nice and so many people buy and praise them, I must say these are some of the worst headphones I’ve ever bought. The sound leakage is absolutely atrocious. As someone who loves to turn their music up really loud have a great time listening to the songs, I would rather use the cheap earbuds I bought, because there is no leakage. I swear the whole world can hear you when you turn your music up. I wanted to see how loud you could turn it up, and the farthest I can turn up the volume on my phone while listening to music and watching Netflix was 4... that’s not even half volume. Terrible purchase that I strongly regret. Especially consodering the cost of these, what you get is not at all worth the $350 CAD. The sound quality is very nice, but what’s the point of that when you can’t turn it up in public and enjoy it. I would also like to say that I’m not a fan that leather is still used for the cushions on the headphones. It’s almost 2019. Get on it. We don’t need the leather, get rid of it and replace it with a vegan pleather, or at least have another option for people who don’t like the idea of leather.

    Waste of money

    • Written by Laurel G

This product was a waste of my hard earned money. I will never buy any other beats by Dre products again, nor will I ever recommend it. It is expensive and cheaply made. The plastic on the left side cracked. I was very careful with the product. after normal use with no problems it began to crack. I was told it was accidental damage by apple. No, the product is cheap and defective. This has happened twice!! Never again!! Horrible experience!!

Never have I been so disappointed about a gift that at first was elated to receive. I used these headphone perhaps 4 or 5 times and they are broke. Because they were a gift I am unable to return them or even exchange because I am unsure where they were purchased. For the 4 times I actually used them yes the sound quality was excellent. I don’t think it should cost 275 dollars to use a product like a disposible pair of headphones. Shame on you dr Dre for charging so much for a cheap product!!!

FINALLY some headphones for a lifetime

    • Written by Brendan M from Scotch Plains

Amazing! It's ironic because when Beats By Dre first came into the market, I wanted the ear buds because I would take the train to college and didn't carry bulky extravagant items with me. I wanted it simple. So I used another brand headphones that I liked at the time. Turns out I was wrong the whole time...

NOW--since the summer I got these headphones as a birthday gift and can't stop using them. It's great quality, the battery life lasts forever, bluetooth connection never failed and was very user friendly. Maybe catch their holiday sales to save a few dollars, but if not don't worry because YOU WON'T REGRET this purchase.
