    Terrible Sound Quality

    • Written by Naomi M from Toronto

I bought this headphones like a few months ago so I can use them with my iPad. They were good at first and then started to lose its sound quality. I cleaned off the ear wax off with a soft tooth brush thinking it would go back to normal but that was not the case. Now the left side is quieter than the right side and it’s making me crazy. No matter how much I try to take care of it, the sound quality is not getting any better. I will never buy another pair until you fix the sound quality and make sure it is worth the forty dollars.

    holy moses they're bad

    • Written by Jefferson F from Butler

I've had 4(!) pairs of these, with light wear and use, and they've all died within 3 months of use. Absolutely pathetic manufacturing. Never buy another pair.

    Terrible Product, Highly Disappointed

    • Written by Manny C from Clarksville

I am an avid Apple user and like to believe that most apple products are reliable and durable. Unfortunately, this is not the case with the headphones. Please do not buy them at all. On the bright side, but still in disgust, is that they came with the new phone we purchased. I rarely used the headphones and still, they barely lasted over six months. What a total failure and disgrace. I am starting to lose faith in the future and products that Apple produces. Being on a deployment overseas and having the headphones break mid-conversation with my family back home is an absolute embarrassment. Purchasing another set would take nearly a month to receive, please stay away..

Don’t buy unless you want to spend lots of money

    • Written by Sofia M from Santa ana

I can’t believe how these are considering it is an apple product. I got these for 30 dollars and they only last about 6 months. I’ve have at least 4 EarPods that have broken or stop working in a small amount of time. And I’m sure it’s not me that breaks them I take good care of them I don’t really tangle them or do anything that would cause them to stop working. The ones I’m currently using the box on the right earbud were you could pause, turn up and down volume has stopped working and I only bought them in March also I’m starting to hear bits of static and Siri starts turning on and my music keeps pausing. I remember once buying cheap $5 earbuds and they lasted long and good(my mom vacuumed them by accident )and they were much better. I do not recommend these unless you want to constantly buy them. I wish I could get refunds. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND .

    Most uncomfortable and least noise-canceling

    • Written by Isabella S from Fairfax

The old design with silicon buds was way more comfortable and noise-canceling. This design doesn’t fit well in ANYONES ear, the shape is odd and painful. Whoever decided to change the design is a moron. I never use these, and I recommend buying a more comfortable earbud and use a dongle, if necessary. I rather use no earbuds than use these pieces of .Bring back the other design, at least as an option because I swear it will do better than this design.

I alway buy two of these

    • Written by DAVID B from Campbell

It's always the same failure: one of the earpods stops working. I'm 69, so it's not like they're getting the treatment in the gorilla luggage commercial.

    Built to break

    • Written by Trey D from Provo

I go through these earbuds like toilet paper, I don’t fling them around, I don’t step on them, they just decide to stop working after six months. I’m righting this review literally ten minutes after the left earbud stopped working. The only reason I keep getting them is because they’re the only cheaper earbuds you can look good using. I’m pretty sure they just don’t care about the manufacturing of their earbuds anymore because they just want you to get AirPods that don’t break like these ones because they don’t have the flimsy wire. But I’m not gonna spend $200 on some plastic overpriced garbage that I’m probably just gonna lose at a party.

    Bad Review

    • Written by Sophie D from Sheffield

The first time I bought these they packed up after 3 months. And then when I swapped them for a new pair they broke again after a few months. The sound quality is brilliant at first but then after a while it gets quieter, and quieter. And now mine have just broke again the sound quality is terrible and you have to twist the bit that goes into your phone just to get decent sound, and because it’s just a few months past my 1 year garuente I can’t change them for a new pair. They are deffinatly not worth the money.

Two failed sets on one year. Absolutly dissapointed. Zero stars!

    • Written by Cristian M from Coquitlam

For one set the shell split in two from the weld. No sign of abuse.
For the second pair, the jack failed. Pulled the jack from the plastic (not from the cable) the metal part of the jack remained in the phone, The plastic still strongly attached to the cable. How is that possible. Apple won't replace either one. I guess I'm done with Apple accessories.

    Not happy Apple!!!!

    • Written by Nadia H from Sydney

I stupidly bought these latest apple headphones with cord and as I was walking back to my office after purchase, changed them over from the old ones I had for 7 years ago. As soon as I touched the volume button the sound was up down, slamming my eardrums, crackly. The worst thing is I thought despite all the bad reviews about these headphones, the ones I bought years ago have been so wonderful, just looking dirty and I can't clean them properly, was the only reason I bought the new headphones. Apple, surely with all the bad reviews, there is quite obviously a technical problem, and you should have recalled theses ages ago. It's criminal to keep selling a product that you must know is constantly having issues. Take them off the market. Yesterday I bought a new pair with my new IPOD which came with some as well and neither work. Not Happy Apple

    Broke (Again) For No Reason

    • Written by Alexandra O from Milldale

I bought my most recent pair after the sound in the previous became distorted and I could only hear the background vocals and intrumentals over the main vocals of any songs - this was in January. Now, at the end of April, the same thing has happened to my newer pair. There was no physical trauma to the earbuds besides the general wear and tear any earbuds get from use - they weren't stepped on or anything similar to my knowledge. I merely pulled them out of my book bag and they were no longer working. I did discover that if I hold down the remote, that the music will play normally - but the idea of holding down the button and losing the use of my hand is tiring and troublesome. For a company that prides itself on their latest and coolest technology, their earbuds quite literally are some of the worst I've ever used - especially for such a high price.

    Absolutely Terrible Quality

    • Written by Jordan G from Portsmouth

I'm currently on my third pair of earbuds and after owning them for no more than three months either one earbud no longer produces sound, the sound quality greatly diminishes, or no sound comes out of them all together. For the amount you pay for these they don't last very long at all.

    Worst ever

    • Written by Rebecka H from Uppsala

I buy them and instantly regret it every time. Not only are they overpriced, but they break within the first few months of using them. I bought mine at the end of January and they are already broken even though I've been extra careful with them. Don't waste your money on these.

    Truly awful

    • Written by Ian T from London

The build quality of these headphones it truly awful! I have used many pairs of these over the years - each came with the iPhone. They all broke within a short time of usinging them. The lates pair, however, broke within 1 day of usage. The sound cuts out every time the wire moves. Which consisting it moved almost constantly while on the go means they are as good as useless!

Charger isn't working after ONE use.

    • Written by Ayesha L from Westminster

I opened these for the first time and the charger cable is not working after a one time use. Seriously. Absolutely ridic and not high quality at all. It's overpriced and I am not happy right now because I have to go to the Apple store and don't even know if they will replace that cable. What a waste of time and money.
