    Seriously, spend your money elsewhere

If i could give zero stars, I would. Have had them for a total of a week and half and just broke. If you plan to use these for working out, forget about it. You might as well have just thrown money down the drain. Worst headphones ever.

    WORST PRODUCT EVER!

If you fancy going to the service centre once a month then go ahead to purchase this! First of all, the battery does hold charge after a few times, then it gets a auto shut down and finally its not able to charge at all! one word to sum it up. LOUSY!

    Not That sweet proof

Whilst the sound is good and the Bluetooth connection is solid with good range (down to the W1 chip) the robustness of the headphones I s poor. I have now had two sets fail with the same faults, skipping tracks, volume up and down and not turning off. First pair lasted 3 months of light use in the gym and park running and about the same for the second set. I have a third set (purchased for my partner) but not sure if I want to risk using them in the gym as they are not sweet proof and I suspect they will go the same way as the other two sets.

    The Right Ear Seal..

My initial thoughts were horrible, I’m like where’s that quality bass beats are known for. Well after watching YouTube videos I found out that you have to get the right ear seal to unlock their full potentional. It really make a big difference it took awhile but once I went through all the ear buds & found the perfect fit I was impressed. My only problem is that they don’t get too loud, but their still loud enough. Also I wish they used the standard lighting cable.

    Terrible Warenty

Ear clip broke off only a few months after purchase just taking it off to put in the case.
Apple says that's not normal wear & tear and would not cover. TOO FLIMSY! I recommend DO NOT PURCHASE!!!

    HORRIBLE!!!

on my second pair of Powerbeats 3 and they keep disconnecting after about 20 mins into a run. After they disconnect they flash a white light 3 times and wont connect to my phone till hours later. I def should've read reviews before picking these up. They're horrible and would not recommend them to anyone.

    Poorly made money grab

Design flaw in the ear loop causes the silicone to break halfway and a small metal rod to poke out. Another design flaw with the glue means the inline remote control will probably come apart after a couple of months—I superglued mine back together again after finding it in three pieces! The sound is very bass heavy and will ruin must musical styles that aren't dance or hip-hop, even if you reduce the bass on the iPhone. Apple need to be careful with this brand and should start distancing themselves away from Beats products, as they are simply not made to a high enough quality to warrant the price tag.

    Don't buy Powerbeats 3

One more unhappy customer! My Powerbeats quit working after a year and a half. They cost too much for less than two years use. Won't be buying any more.

    Don't Not Buy

I was able to use these for 2 months before they failed. Returning them to Apple for warranty is a huge hassle. Should have stayed with the Jaybirds.

    Design failure?

Initially bought (Shock Yellow) Dec 2016, product failed in July. Replaced at Apple Store as Genius couldn't do anything with them including reading the serial number from the cable! Second unit, now only 3-4 weeks old, are failing as well. Within 30 minutes in the gym, they randomly turn off. Sometimes they turn back on, most of the time you get three white flashes and nothing else. The new set do turn on again after being left for a few minutes but are likely to go the same way as the first set. Unfortunately, this seems be an all too common fault reported on numerous online customer reviews. Apparently Apple Store aren't meant to replace (I'm sure there's a trading standards issue here?) and Beats want me to send the unit back for them to replace - meaning I will be without for some time (which I suppose won't matter once they completely fail like the old set).
When working they sound great, sound quality in good with good balance between bass and upper tones. The fit takes a few wears to bed in and battery lasts a long time.
I would love to be able to recommend these but given the failure rate, especially it seems if they are used in the gym (active wear?), they seem to have a serious design fault and need a recall - or Apple need to hold up their hands and state these are not sweat proof. The product description reads: Sweat and water resistance provides trusted durability. Apple are loosing my trust here.

    Spot on.

Have had beats products in the past, still using(& loving) my beatbox portable btw but for some reason I was hesitant on getting the pb3, mostly because of the price and partially the bad (so-so) reviews.

Anyway after the 2nd cheap wireless headphones I was using just stopped working, I said eff it and popped in the Apple Store and picked up a pb3. Just tested it out and the sound quality and aesthetics of the headphones is quite simple breathtaking. If you're even thinking of getting one of these, please just do it. The price is steep but it's well worth it as far as I'm concerned, the look and sound of beats products never deteriorate or go out of style so it will pay itself off in the long run.

Just get it, you won't regret it.

*Only just got the headphones plus I haven't used the mic and what not hence the 4 stars.

they were great until they weren't

mine only last 6 mos before I had to have them repaired. then the new ones only lasted for about another 5 mos before the front part of the remote fell off. then they just stopped working all together not able to hold a charge at all. I am really disappointed in these cause they are very convenient for the gym, however for running outside they don't work at all just a little bit sweat and jarring and they slip right out of ears.

Worst Product Ever With Support to Match

I purchased the PowerBeats3 on release day because I wanted wireless earphones with W1 technology. The build quality was the worst I've ever seen in an Apple product, and after 10 months the wire connecting the ear pieces began to separate and Apple refused to honor it's warranty claiming it's accidental damage. I would never by a beats branded produced again. They might be Apple products, but the quality would embarrass Samsung. Even the customer service is terrible on these products. DON'T BUY THESE!

    Good Sound Quality But Uncomfortable

The hooks were uncomfortable for me. I have several cartilage piercings at the forward helix (the front part) of my ear and the hooks would rub up against my piercings. The sound quality was great, but the discomfort was not worth it so after having these headphones for 4 days I exchanged them for the ear bud style.

    Good Headphones

I see alot of negative reviews about these headphones. I dont know maybe i got lucky, but I bought these headphones around Feb when my skull candies got stolen and I can honestly say I have no problems with them Yet? Gives me great battery life connects to all of my apple products fast (Macbook, iPad , iPhone and apple watch. Loud Crisp Clear, I usually go to the gym with them, has not fell out of my ear once. I honestly have no complaints, the only reason i gave it 4 stars, that one time when I was in the sauna they overheated and turned off.....got scared left and waited about 5 minutes and they turned on again

    SO DISAPPOINTED WITH APPLES HEADPHONES!!

2 PAIRS OF SOLO HD BEATS BROKEN IN JUST OVER A YEARS USE FROM BOTH PAIRS. JUST WHEN I THOUGHT APPLE GOT IT RIGHT WITH THE POWERBEATS 3 BEING SWEAT PROOF AND MORE DURABLE I WAS COMPLETELY WRONG. I BOUGHT A PAIR OF POWERBEATS 3 UNDER 3 MONTHS AGO AND THESE PIECE OF YOU KNOW WHAT, BROKE WHILE GETTING SOME CARDIO IN ON THE STAIRMASTER RECENTLY .

APPLE- YOU JUST LOST AN ANGRY CUSTOMER FOR GOOD. I WILL NO LONGER PURCHASE YOUR OVERPRICED BEATS HEADPHONES THAT WILL BREAK IN UNDER 2 YEARS OF USE. NONE OF MY EXPENSIVE BEATS HEADPHONES LASTED LONGER THAN 1.5 YEARS AND FOR THE PRICE THEY SHOULD. APPLE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEIR PRODUCT (BEATS) AND SHOULD HAVE A RECALL ON THEIR POWERBEATS 3, DUE TO ALL THE BAD SIMILIAR REVIEWS FROM CUSTOMERS.

    MONEY WAISTED!!

TERRIBLE !!! TERRIBLE !!!!!! TERRIBLE !!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!

I purchased this item today and was extremely dissatisfied with the quality of this product. It hurts me so bad to place such a NEGATIVE review after I came to love the Beats 2 Wireless Head Phones that I had. I am so mad at myself for washing my old set in the washier. The sound and voice quality of the Beats 3 is Terrible. Additionally, it feels very cheep on your hears and the volume fluctuates when you are talking. I AM NOT SURE HOW A GOOD PRODUCT CAN GO WRONG, BUT THE BEATS WIRELESS 3 DEVICE WINS FIRST PLACE.

Please do not wast your money on this product. The reviews are TRUE, this is a Good Product that has went WRONG !!!!

    PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

In one year I had to send them back 4 times. And of course they stop working again immediately after the warranty is over. I had them only for working out. Never took them in the sauna. Never left them in the car. Never over charged them. Only workout. That's it. And every 2-3 months they would just stop turning on. Such a waste of my money. It was more of a headache to have bc I had to call and talk to 10 ppl, wait for them to mail me a box, and then mail it and make sure I was home for the delivery. FOUR TIMES!! I wouldn't never spend another dollar on beats. Take my advice. Buy else where!!!

Don't buy these!! You will regret it!!

These earphones die after a few months of normal use. We got ours replaced under warranty TWICE by Apple, so we had THREE different pairs. They were all JUNK and died within months.

When we tried to get warranty service a THIRD time, Apple finally gave up and told us we would have to pay for the repair. No thanks, Apple.

Can't believe Apple paid over $1B for this company and their terrible products. Dr. Dre & Jimmy Iovine are laughing all the way to the bank.

    The WORST Product Ever Seen

    R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S !!!!

Please, if you have any self-esteem and value your time, please DO NOT BUY these earphones!

I consider myself a fan of all-things-Apple. I own an iPad, iMac, iPhone and a Macbook - all tremendous products. But these headphones man, let me tell you about them.

This is my sixth (!!!) pair I have had replaced. My first pair I bought about 3 months ago stopped working in the middle of my first Marathon after mile 12 (!) although they were fully charged. Back home, I tried to charge them - fail. No red light, no white light, no light at all. Left them charging the entire night but they simply wouldn't turn on anymore. So I sent them back to Apple and received a replacement pair. 7 days later my second brand-new pair stopped working again. Sent them back again. 5 days later they stopped working again. Sent them back again. 10 days later the fourth replacement pair stopped working again. 6 days later.. you get it.

What a disappointment and waste of money!
