These headphones are the most incredible headphones I’ve ever tried. The sound quality is SO GOOD and they are very comfortable to wear. I’ve had the old version of these headphones and I can definitely say there is a big improvement. I am really happy with my order and will be using these headphones for a long time hopefully

High price tag, new "Flava", new engine

    • Written by Mark K from Darien

At $350 USD, the Beats Studio3 is still expensive, but don't rule it out because of the price tag--Apple's been working VERY HARD to ensure that the features warrant the price tag. First you can now listen with or without the revised Beats Studio ANC, though your ears need to get used to the new "Flava", which is a plus for Beats loyalists aching for this feature for a long time. Siri convenience for iOS users is a plus. Wired or wireless, the choice is yours (with the included wire). Soundwise, it's hard to say whether wired or wireless, With or without ANC is better--audio is subjective nowadays. On my wish list is auto-off and Apple Lightning instead of Micro USB (major flaw). Bottom line is that 40 hours without Pure ANC (22 Hours with Pure ANC) you get what you pay for with Beats Studio3 Wireless. Ton of "Flava" but you have lots of options from out of the box.

    An overall fantastic product

    • Written by CHAD K from Portland

    Pros unique to Studio3:
⁃ I’ve owned many Apple products over the decades, but this is my first Beats product. It feels very Apple-like in the best of ways.
⁃ Love the sleek, simple & compact design. Good fit & finish. Plastic has a high-quality feel. Packaging is stunning. Nice carrying case w/ near waterproof zipper.
    ⁃ Light & comfortable, although, break-in required.
⁃ Flawless setup & Apple device integration. It’s just so quick & easy to bounce from device to device.
⁃ Efficient buttons, LEDs & interface.
⁃ Fantastic autotune for ambient noise levels & audio type improves overall listening experience. Brief delay w/ first power, change ambient conditions, or change the style of music, then sound comes into clarity.

    Pros common to similar products:
⁃ I no longer need volume to overcome ambient noise or poor balance, which has allowed volume drop & hearing protection.
⁃ While I prefer in-ear, the over-ear style has better battery life, along with better noise cancelling & audio quality performance.

    Cons unique to Studio3:
⁃ It is pretty tough to tell the left from right based on design & makings. The power button is the only indicator for orientation under dim, dark or other setting where you don’t want to have to look for the small grey “L” or “R” markings on the dark grey finish.

    Cons common to similar products:
⁃ Not-so-good new product off-gassing. Hoping it will rapidly dissipate, but it is definitely noticeable since the headphones are right next to your nose.
⁃ A Lightning or USB-C connection would have been nice to avoid having one more cord on the desk and having to bring another cord when traveling, but it’s a Beats product instead of an Apple product so makes sense.
⁃ I do not enjoy using over-ear for phone calls, but that might be more of a personal preference.

Amazing sound and excellent noise cancelling

    • Written by Keir S from Salina

I purchased these recently and have been quite happy thus far. I bought them to listen to music while hitting golf balls and mowing, quite the range of expectations.....: ) Their noise cancelling is amazing as I can mow and listen to music with my music at a low volume. This is a dramatic change from my ear buds and my iphone as loud as possible and making out every 4th word.
They also stay in place well and feel firm on your head but not too tight. I also use them when hitting golf balls at the range and have been very happy with the fit. Overall very satisfied w/ the purchase!

    Simply amazing

    • Written by Amit K from Cupertino

I've had Bose over-ear QC headphones for quite some time and was initially skeptical about these being good. But I have to say, these are really good in delivering an amazingly rich sound quality experience. The base is perfect as is the treble, unlike other Beats headphones. The seamless integration just like AirPods make these really the best wireless headphones in the market. Have just 3 words for you - "Just try them"

    Incredible Headphones

These headphones sound amazing and the noise canceling is impressive. The design is flawless. Also, the range of the headphones is considerably better than that of other bluetooth headphones I have used. Highly recommend the product.

    Vastly Improved audio

    • Written by Jason T from Tucson

This is my 3rd pair of beats studio over-ears. I like technology, what can I say. I just got these today and tried a few different types of music. There are no cosmetic differences from what I can tell, but the audio (to me) is noticeably different. Much clearer and the switching between my iWatch and iPhone is seamless. Before it required turning them off and on and other unpairing/pairing options. I can't say if the one thing that has plagued my other two pairs has been fixed or not: The hinge. I take care of my electronics and they get charged every night, but gym use takes its toll. I've replaced the headband on the other pairs so many times that I lost count. Time will tell. These are expensive, even for a techie like me, but I don't buy them for the name. I like the bluetooth connectivity, the clear audio, and the noise cancelling. The over-ear works for me for comfort so to each his own. Whatever they did inside more than makes up for what they didn't on the outside. I would have liked to see a lightning or USB-C charging port, but hey maybe for Studio4.

    A Headphone for Bass Lovers

    • Written by Brendan B from Toronto

Honestly, I'd say the studio 3.0 is well worth it, a great upgrade. I've been testing what I can do with these headphones. I left my house with my phone inside, still connected. Great range. The ear foam is so much softer than the older editions, not to mention that the ear pads also move to accommodate headsize (they move a by up and down, it doesn't squeeze as much on your head as older studios). The noise cancelling is honestly top class, I'm currently listening to music on exactly half volume and I can't hear myself singing. The music isn't blasting in my ears. Last but not least, sound quality is the best I've experienced with any headphone so far. You can really hear the background detail in music you may not have heard before. The case is stylish, you get one mic audio cord, the clip for the case and a charging wire. My only issue with these is that you don't get a charging adapter, only the charging wire. All in all, the best wireless headphone I've experienced.
