    Beats Studio 3 Wireless Headphone

    • Written by Dale T

The physical quality of the Studio 3 is excellent, the packaging and implementation are excellent, the functionality is amazing, and the sound -- well, the sound is a matter of taste, yes? As a portable headphone, perfect - the noise canceling is great, and the sound curve adds body and harmonic detail to your music. If you were to use the Studio 3 indoors with a good DAC in wired mode, you'll have the EQ or tone controls to tailor the sound to your personal taste. And it's a smooth, warm, detailed sound that you'll love.

    Go with BOSE!!!

    • Written by Justin M

These headphones are nice for working-out and regular indoor use. But they are complete junk for use on airplanes, so if you travel do not get the beats. The noise cancelling goes crazy and cause's pure bass to come from the left earpiece. Therefore making the music/video audio unclear and irritates your ear drum in a very bad way. Serious let down, seeing as I forked out $350 bucks for a substandard product. From personal experience go with the Bose Quiet Comfort 35 II.

Form is Great. Function is Fair.

    • Written by STEVE H from PARK RIDGE

I bought the Beats Sutdio3 for by daughter because that is what she wanted. I gave them a serious listen which included some time on a flight to Phoenix with her. The styling is great. The wireless works well. Battery life if good. Noise canceling is above average. She's happy. But I own a pair of PSB M4U 2 which are highly rated by audio magazines. They simply are in another league for sound quality at the same price. Much clearer. Better bass. Lager sound stage. No competition. They are heavier because you need big magnets for the drivers to deliver great bass and fast transitions. The Studio3 are light. Little magnets make for weaker sound. The laws of physics can't be broken. Now my headphones don't cancel noise quite as well. They are not as stylish. And they are not wireless. But if you buy headphones to really enjoy music you'll find better at the same price elsewhere.

    Badly engineered

    • Written by JONATHAN S from NEW YORK

They sound great ... when they work.

Sadly they don't work when its cold. I'm not talking arctic cold. I'm talking 10 minutes of exposure walking to work in 16 degrees with no wind. They just shut down. There is no warning before you buy the product that these are only designed for usage in the highly moderate zone of the Bay Area. Apple used to care about good engineering but I guess insulating the battery would have cost another $1 cutting into their profits on a four hundred dollar pair of headphones.

So these are just summer headphones. Except when it's too hot they make your ears sweat. So I guess they are Spring and Fall headphones. Spend another $400 for Summer and Winter headphones.

This is lazy engineering and the kind of misleading sales practices which turn people to other companies for good.

    Plug to my iphone 7

    • Written by Karina Z

The beats solo3 wireless that I bought was great, but the only issue I had was to plug the headphone in to my iphone7. Since the end of the headphone cord is not the same as the 3.5mm jack of the iphone7. I could only use the beats solo3 by bluetooth as I lost my iphone dongle. I would of love to have a special beats dongle like the iphone one, as it would of come in handy.

    Great Heaphones

    • Written by Chris C

Very happy with these, sound great, comfortable, long battery life, quick charging, all around a great headphone. Personally I think the Studios are just as comfortable as the Bose QC 35, just a little heavier. They are much louder and clearer than the Bose, all around better looking, and have a higher quality feel. NC is great, flew with them a few times and I don't hear any of the engine or wind noise and the volume doesn't need to be blasting. The only thing I have against them (why I gave them 4 stars) is that if you don't want to use the BT or NC with the aux cord they still power up. When I'm at work I would prefer to have them plugged into my computer with no NC on. Other than that they are great!

Does not work with temperatures below 32F / 0C

    • Written by Magnus A from Jackson Heights

$349 and they will shut down when the temperature is below 32F/0C. Two different people at apples genius bar sad it's normal. Crazy bad product. There's a thread on reddit on this so it's nothing with just my headphones. Don't buy if you live where the temperature drops below 32F and you expect your headphones to work.

    Good Headphones!

    • Written by Danielle W from ROME

These are my first beats but I have heard the studios 2s so comparing the studio 3 with the old ones ? Wow these headphones are awesome as in clarity , comfort, sound. I wish the bass wasn’t brought down so much on theses but it’s not too bad. I enjoy my purchase esp since I got them on sale during the holidays ! Go Apple and Beats!

They designed the most stupid headphone microphone I have ever seen! It can't reach my mouth, if you want to sing or speak with the wire while you are using a computer, no way! Pretty sure you can;t use in the hot days, also unconfortable sometimes

Lost bass on studio beats 3 all colors

    • Written by Robert T from Brooklyn

Although I love the new noise cancelling feature, the sound quality has gone down. Yes, it does sound clear but where is the bass? Ever since Apple took over beats the customer service and sound is trash. Many people will say “it sounds tight and clear for those who don’t know much about headphones and music” but that’s bull. The sound quality on the studio beats 2 were amazing, and that’s when Dr.Dre still owned beats before selling it to Apple. Thanks for ruining my listening experience, Apple.

    They’re Great!

    • Written by MariaSofia A

The headband on the headphones is soft and comfortable to wear. They fold very easily so there’s no point in being scared to break them. They’re not very heavy and the Bluetooth works really well too. The noise canceletion works pretty well. They’re just great! It’s worth buying

    best headphones on the market

    • Written by caleb E

These headphones are insane. The noise cancelation works a lot better than I expected. I was in the car with my whole family and they were even playing the radio and with the headphones on, unless you really tried to hear them, you wouldn't hear them at all. Also they are so loud at full volume its almost like a speaker and the bass is awesome its not to crazy its perfect. Of course this is personal preference.

Make sure you buy a warranty as the charger will stop working!

    • Written by Anthony E

I got these headphones less than a year ago and I agree with most of the reviews, they are awesome, BUT after wearing them and charging them for a few months, they stopped charging. It is not a problem with the chord, but the headphones themselves seem to stop charging. It first started with having to place the headphones in a very very specific charging position, but after a month or two this wouldn't even do the trick anymore. So they worked for a few months, but I will now have to buy a new pair, and if they worked I would buy them again, but I don't want to shell out $350 every year for headphones. At that price point, they shouldn't die within the first year of purchase.
