Love these headphones. The audio quality is great and they're comfortable. Even better though, is the BT technology. My iPhone was on the bottom floor and I was wearing my beats on the top floor. I needed to make a call, but didn't want to go all the way down to get it. I held down the center button which activated Siri. I told her to make the call -- and it worked. The audio went straight to my beats, and activated the mic. The person on the other end could hear me perfectly. When I ended the call, I pressed the same button, and my music resumed. Amazing!

    My Beats Experience

    • Written by Christopher W

The sound quality of the headphones are remarkable, after testing several different brands this product stood out the most with the volume, sound and cancellation. My biggest issue was I wore the headphones at a 10 times max and the came apart somehow. I contacted Apple and they quickly sent me a repair box, the customer service was great but when I received my headphones back I was told that 2 screws were missing and it was too costly to repair them. I wish I was able to upload photos to show the condition of them are brand new but the left side is hanging by only a wire. This is my 4th pair of beats and this will definitely be my LAST PAIR.

    Average $349 product

Pros-: ~Built quality is good ,though not recommended to use more than 1 hr at a stretch ~Battery is awesome 22hrs with ANC and 40hrs without ANC ~First charging ~Connectivity is awesome Cons-: ~I found out that so called Pure ANC is not as good as compare to Bose QC 35 and other market leaders ~Sound quality is not good in comparison to other good headphones with same price range ~Can not use continuously for more than 1hr ~Noice cancelling is not working during a phone call. Advice to Beats-: They should release a software which should address these issues.

These headphones are one of the best purchases that I have ever made. The range for the bluetooth is farther than any other headphones. Also, the battery lasts forever. 100000000000/5

    Beats Studio 3 Wireless

For anyone buying this product, there are some things you should know before buying it. Now, before I say this, I’m no audiophile, but I do know my headphones. Pros~ noise cancelling is great, on some instances. I personally use mine for travel, and they work great, but if you’re on a bumpy spot in the road, or not so smooth pavement, they shake, the sound goes all wack. Another pro is the fact that there isn’t insanely annoying bass, like he previous models, there’s decent clarity, but nothing in compare to the Sony WH1000MX2’s. My last pro is th ear cushions, probably the best I’ve used. They cover my ears completely and I never have any pain with the ear part or the headphones. Cons- the bass isn’t there when you need it for a song, it just sounds a little off. Another con is the headband, I can only listen for about an hour, and then it causes annoying pain on my head. My last con is that you can’t lisren to them loudly for a long time, I recently had a pair, and I didn’t even use them for a year, and the speakers blew out. Now I’m not someone who listens to music at full blast at all, but a headphone this price should have the interior durability that one would expect. I would recommend this for just indoor, travel or personal use, but nothitnctoo serious.

    Style over substance

    • Written by Frederick F from CHICAGO

The one thing about these headphones is they look fantastic. The design is great as well as basic functionality of the headphones. The problem is....for $350, they sound horrible. I thought beats were supposed to have BASS??? There is almost none. Compare them to Bose QuietComfort 35ii...and you’ll hear the difference. I would recommend the Bose if you want your music to sound great and with depth. Also the noise cancellation on the Beats is not great....it will cancel out background white noise, but that’s about it. With Bose, the entire outside world is blocked out. I’m really not sure how they justify the $350 price for these subpar headphones.

    Cheap materials

    • Written by Viktor S

Made from cheap, thin plastic. The left side, above the metal ring has broke after few month of usage, when wearing them on. I was surprised seeing a PLASTIC frame inside, screwed with two tiny screws. Metal is just a fake show-off! Such a waste of money! However, they sound very good.

Ok so I purchased these headphones expecting big things seeing as the cost £299 pounds but big things I did not get firstly there’s no voice prompts to say anything really so you don’t know when the anc is on or off you don’t know when and what device your connected to that for starters is a joke at this price range pretty much every other noise cancelling headphone at this price point has multiple voice prompts and so they should!
My second gripe is the sound quality it’s average at best yes there’s a bit of bass but it’s not even that punchy or refined the sound has no depth and it’s average at best and again at this price point is a total joke!
My third complaint which is by far my biggest gripe with these headphones and that’s comfort these headphones are so uncomfortable it’s unbelievable I mean who actually tests these headphones before they get released because whoever is should be fired as there is no way these headphones should be released being this uncomfortable the clamping force is ridiculous it felt like the worlds strongest man was squeezing my head by pressing on my ears it’s quite ironic as it states on the box that people ain’t hearing all the music well you won’t be hearing any music with these headphones as you will be in agony after 10 mins and have to take them off I really cannot express how uncomfortable these headphones are seriously don’t waste your money as after 10 mins you will be taking these off due to your ears causing you discomfort I’m so disappointed that Apple have released these headphones being so uncomfortable seriously Apple hire me to try your next pair of headphones on before you release them as whoever you have at the moment doing that job is a joker
I literally purchased these headphones and within 24hrs I returned them for a refund

    Top Headphones

    • Written by Fayaz K from North York

Great job by Apple and Beats by Dre Team. Sound improvement is amazing. Everything is well balanced. ANC is also great when travelling. Avoids aircraft sound. W1 chip is a bonus, I can easily switch between my Apple devices.

They are also very comfortable. Don't have to adjust or remove them every half hour like the Solos.

Keep up the great work Apple and Beats Team. We can now enjoy the sound at the fullest.

    Poor quality

    • Written by will P from Santa Barbara

Apple charges 200.00 to replace these if they break after a year, and they will break. Mine broke three times just from extending them to put on my head and I’m a light user. I wouldn’t pay another cent toward them when it will just happen again. So be prepared to spend a lot of money if u want to keep these around!

    Love Beats Studio 3 headphones

    • Written by Raja S

Have had these headphones for 2 days. Fantastic replacement for old Bose QC2 headphones. Music is just great. Voice calls on phone and Gotomeeting sounds great. If there is one small beef, it is the fact that the phones are cumbersome to carry. The included carry case is bulky. If not for that it would rate 5 stars.

    Beats Studio 3 - Excellent

    • Written by Dono S from Toronto

The new sound profile along with W1 chip for seemless connectivity has earned the Studio3 praise! My first Beats ever: Range is phenomenal, especially in a pro gym with 40 people at least having wireless headsets themselves along with gym having their own broadcast of Bluetooth. Seemless setup on iPhone 7, W1 connection/registration with Apple Watch Nike+ S2, and AppleTV4 was flawless as advertised. Neutral sound profile allows me to get the best sound quality from: Classic/Progressive (90s)/Techno/Tech House tracks, deep base from HipHop, Jazz (Herb Alpert, Miles Davis, and Chet Baker) is very impressive. No comfort issues whatsoever and I have VERY small ears (under 6cm in height) over 2hrs of consistent listenning. Bonus: these will be my earmuffs in sub -20 winter weather in Toronto this winter ;)

    Poorly Built for the Price

    • Written by JAMES D from Hamilton

Buy with caution. Beats Solos have had wiring issues where one earpiece will cut out when a wire which is too short for the extendable headset pulls loose from the earpiece speaker. Check the internet as many people have experienced this issue on Solos...I wish I had!
