    great sound ,poor design

Beats Solo3 came with MacBook pro 2018. I did not open headphones for 4 months. A few weeks ago My Beats X stopped charging(I was happy for 1 year, suddenly they stopped working( battery issue ), so I was pushed to use those wireless headphones. Every time I put them on, 10-15 minutes later my ears begin to throb so bad, I have to take them off. Ear cartilage pain becomes unbearable, I would not buy it knowing they would hurt so much. Awesome quality of sound, better sound for a conversation on the phone,I got many comments it was easy to hear me (compare to Beats X).
I do not think they are good for movement or sports activity, (slight head movement make them fall off my head)
I would give 5 stars for sound quality....
After 2 weeks of trying I gave up, I am looking for some wireless alternatives.

This is a great set of headphones, sound is fantastic and they hold a charge for a very long time. Note: if they feel tight on your head/ears pull the ear cups down a couple of notches and they will be much more comfortable. Again- awesome quality and sound, great battery life.

    Pop Headphones

I got these headphones from the deal on UNiDAYS where I got an apple computer and a free pair of beats headphones. I’ve previously owned beats earbuds, but I like the headphones way more. They have amazing battery life and great sound. I wish they were a little more noise canceling though. The colors are so unique and they work so well with my phone!

Great headphone quality and sound, not good for longwear

I bought my MacBook Pro recently and they came with a pair of Beats Solo3 wireless headphones. I was so excited to show them off, because they are aesthetically a very nice looking pair of headphones. I use them every day for Netflix, facetime, music and much more. The quality of sound is superb, while at the same time blocking out any outside noises. However, the only flaw is that after 30 minutes of use my ears begin to throb incessantly. The pain is about a 6 on a scale of 1-10. I noticed this within the first week of use. The cartilage of my outside ear will just feel very sore and throb for quite a while if I wait too long to take a break from the headphones. This may be due to them being tight around my head, which is desirable but since they are non adjustable, it is unavoidable to experience ear pain. I even have a relatively small head, so I can’t imagine someone with a large head wearing these for very long. Great sound quality, poor engineering when it comes to flexibility and comfort. I still reccommend buying these headphones, just buyer beware that they aren’t very good for long sessions.

Sound only comes out of one side of the headphones

    • Written by Rebecca H from KADINA

This is my first pair of beats headphones. Very expensive purchase so was expecting them to work well.
They are super comfy, reduce outside noise and super simple to connect with my phone, just disappointing that only one side has sound coming out of it. Won’t buy again, will be asking for a refund.
