Depends on the thickness. The charger works best when there's less than 5mm between the back of the Depends on the thickness. Also, I'd be worried about the magnetic field erasing your credit cards' mag stripes.

iPhone 7 is not compatible with wireless charging. Phones that have aluminum casings are not able to iPhone 7 is not compatible with wireless charging. Phones that have aluminum casings are not able to charge wirelessly, that's why most phones that wirelessly charge have glass backs. Hope this helped!

I have never had any problems with phones or any electrical devices.
