  • Overview

Crafted from the same 316L stainless steel alloy as the case, the Link Bracelet has more than 100 components. The machining process is so precise, it takes nearly nine hours to cut the links for a single band. The custom-made butterfly closure folds neatly within the bracelet. And several links feature a simple release button, so you can add and remove links without any special tools. An additional diamond-like carbon (DLC) layer gives the space black stainless steel its distinctive finish.

After a few months, it started showing silver stainless steel. Paid premium to get the best quality and end up feeling like I should have gone the Chinese road.

It was not inexpensive to say the least, and the Description said it was a great quality made item & the coating on the Band would last for years. Within a few months the coating was chipping And now it looks awful. A replacement band is fairly expensive too. Disappointed in Apple’s Quality!

Less than two years from purchase and a small metal piece came off the latch and now the band is worthless. Apple support has no option to repair; you’re only recourse is to buy a brand new band. Terrible quality and terrible customer support. Buy a third-party band and save your money.

My bracelet showed scratches within a few months and by now (2 years after purchase) it shows many silver patches. Very disappointing. Even more disappointing, My bracelet showed scratches within a few months and by now (2 years after purchase) it shows many silver patches. Very disappointing. Even more disappointing, the watch itself just broke—the screen completely detached from the base and is not repairable. That’s even more disappointing. My other watch is a Rolex and I think i’ll stick with it going forward. With it, you get what you pay for.

Great band & has held up for years

I’ve had this band (space black link bracelet) on my original series 1 iWatch from day zero, soon after they were originally released—a few years now (assuming, I’ve had this band (space black link bracelet) on my original series 1 iWatch from day zero, soon after they were originally released—a few years now (assuming, of course, that the band materials/quality hasn’t changed). My band doesn’t have a single scratch or chip and has held up well and looks great!

I am very disappointed that the black coating is wearing off of the band and the stainless silver colour is showing through. For the price of this band, it should last a lifetime. I own other brands of watch bands that are several years older and they do not show any wear. And yes, I wore them as much or more than my Apple watch. I have now removed the band and replaced it with a band at a quarter of the price and it seems to be holding up well. Very disappointed.
