AppleCare+ provides up to two years of expert technical support and additional hardware coverage for iPad, Apple Pencil and an Apple-branded iPad keyboard from Apple, including unlimited incidents of accidental damage protection. Each incident is subject to a service fee of NZ$75 for iPad, or NZ$49 for Apple Pencil or an Apple-branded iPad keyboard.(1) In addition, you’ll get 24/7 priority access to Apple experts by chat or phone through getsupport.apple.com.(2) Coverage begins on your AppleCare+ purchase date.

Or buy it within 60 days of your iPad purchase:
- On your device (go to Settings > General > About and choose Add AppleCare+ Coverage)
- Online (requires you to verify your serial number and run a remote diagnostic)
- By calling 0800-127-753 (requires you to run a remote diagnostic and provide proof of purchase)
