Can i use a USB Ethernet Adapter to be hard wired to the internet and then broadcast wifi from my MacBook Pro ?

My whole purpose of doing this, Is to Connect to the Internet with the Internet, and then create a hot spot from my MacBook Pro. I want to have a VPN enabled. So the Wi-Fi that is broadcasted from my MacBook Pro will be is That of the VPN. I am currently in Germany but I want to see Netflix from the USA. So I'm thinking this might work has anyone tried this.

Yes, you can do this in System Preferences -> Sharing -> Internet Sharing.

You will need to figure out your VPN situation, though. If your VPN connection is done in your user session it may not affect your entire system's IP routing. There's probably a way to make this work by messing with your routing tables, but you might consider instead looking into a hardware VPN solution that would sit between your modem and your MacBook.
