Is this OS DVD media, or just a download code?

I have a machine Macbook 2007 and the HDD died so need to completely reinstall new image to new HDD. But can't find my old media. I have another machine Macbook Pro 2015 but the appstore says I can't download LION to it to create image.

Can a 1.83 Ghz Intel Core Duo be upgraded to meet requirements for OS X Lion 10.7?

The current medical billing company utilized by the company I contract with can only be utilized with the newest upgrade for Java (Java 7) making Java 6 obsolete. Java 7 can only be downloaded with and Intel Core 2 or other processors I have the above listed processor. If I can not access the medical billing software and/or Java 7 my current laptop would be useless for my employment. Please advise.

Is a Maverick or Yosemite download available now if I never downloaded it in my AppStore?

Having Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and not downloading Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks or Yosemite from the AppStore during their respective current "reigns" and now I need to update my operating system to use a special health program.

I have 1 gig in my imac. Can I still download and use Lion, or do I have to have 2 gigs to run it?

I have IOS 10.6.8 right now. 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, startup disc Macintosh HD, Model identifier iMac7,1. I have 2 cores, 1 GB of memory, Bus Speed 800 MHz. Can I go straight to Mountain Lion, or do I have to get Lion first, and will it run on my computer?
