Can i connect an external DVR hard drive (from a CCTV system) into a 2015 new Imac using the thunderbolt?
The DVR has a VGA socket and an HDMI socket. Even though I can get an adapter from either of these to fit the thunderbolt connection, I'm concerned it'll only allow output from the Imac, not inout from the DVR.
Can you please possibly advise?
Many thanks.

Can I use this adapter to connect my MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2011: non-retina, 'Thunderbolt') to the HDMI input on a new projector?
Notes:
'Connect' i.e. transfer video and audio.
'Projector' i.e. a Benq W1070+ with 2 x HDMI inputs.
(bearing in mind of course that I'll also have to purchase the relevant HDMI cable) -

Does this allow you to connect a Mid 2014 MacBook Pro to a 4K Display and get 60Hz refresh rate?
I want to use the DisplayPort plug in the Thunderbolt output on a 15" 2014 rMacBook Pro, and connect the HDMI to the 4K Display. It would be nice to know if this configuration will support 60Hz Refresh rate, because 30Hz doesn't work so well when you're trying to edit video.
