Does using this increase latency in audio transfer between a new MBP and an apogee audio interface?
I need minimal latency (basically unnoticeable) and sometimes stream 30+ channels of audio data at 96khz. There is no latency when i connect it to my current MBP but need to know if there will be an increase in latency because of this adapter?

Should the network connection be passed through from an older Apple Thunderbolt Display
I have an older Apple Thunderbolt Display (27-inch (2560 x 1440) Radeon Pro 450 2048 MB graphics). I attached it to my new MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016) using a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter. For my old Mac Book Pro, I could attach to the network by plugging an ethernet cable into the display, but that network connection doesn't seem to pass though with the new MacBook pro and this cable.
Should it work? If so, what do I have to do?- Asked by Alan C from Acton

I bought the apple adapter and it doesn't seem to be connecting to my HP Spectre x360, I'm told the "Thunderbolt device functionality may be limited" when i plug it in.

how to connect Sabrent EC-NVME (with USB 3.1 Gen 2 USB Type-C) to Mac Pro (2016) (Model: MacPro6,1 6-Core Intel Xeon E5 3.5 GHz) thru THUNDERBOLT 2?
I'm looking for the best, cost effective way to get the most out of the SPEED in the new NVMe type SSD (Samsung 970 EVO+) in the Sabrent EC-NVME enclosure that only has a USB-C interface on it. Is there a cable, adapter or dock that can conduct both the data transfer AND POWER to the enclosure while allowing for Thunderbolt 2 data transfer speeds, (or at least 10 Gb/sec?)

Trying to connect my LaCie 5Big RAID (Thunderbolt 2) to my new iMac Pro (Thunderbolt 3).
I have updated all of the drives and software and purchased an adapter, but my iMac still cannot see the LaCie RAID. Just spent an hour with the LaCie support and they think it's the cable. Any advice would be helpful.

Can you daisy chain thunderbolt 2 drives?
I have a drive with two ports that has another drive with two ports connected and that second drive again another drive. In short: daisy chained drives (one is used as Time Machine drive). All their own power brick). This works fine now, but will the adapter also allow this daisy chain? So one thunderbolt 2 drive will get the adapter and there it will have daisy chained Thunderbolt 2 drives.
Will this work as it works now?- Asked by F V
