Best Answer:
The terms of the Mac App Store allow individuals to download and install any of their purchases on any machine they own or control. So as long as you're installing to your own machines, you'll be fine. However, businesses that are installing software to many machines may need to consider the volume purchase program.

will installing lion remove el capitan
- Asked by Anthony S from Sloan

Answeryes, installing lion will remove el capitan. i dont recommend going about this by yourself, because if you dont know what youre doing, then you will encounter problems. I did this same thing as well. I wanted to go from yosemite to lion because i couldnt stand yosemite. I did it myself and I encountered many problems. I almost had to have my hard drive replaced. so i went to the apple store and they did it for me. but yes, downgrading is possible but risky.
Make sure you have a backup of everything on an external hard drive or usb.
(I recommend external hard drives like My Passport which can hold up to almost one terabyte, which is more than enough space)
I hope this was of some help to you :)- Answered by Yasmine P from Burnaby

Best Answer:
No, as your graphics chip is sadly incompatible with Mountain Lion (despite only requiring a driver or two, but that's apple for you). I believe there is also an issue with the BIOS, or the computer firmware, not being compatible as well. My mid-2007 Black Macbook suffers from this premature death as well, but Lion is still great. I recommend maxing out your ram (6GB Maximum, 4GB supported by Apple) and installing an SSD to make your machine lightning quick. LONG LIVE THE WHITE MACBOOK! Hope I helped you out.

Best Answer:
You have to update to 10.6 first assuming it can be supported. These are the specs for Snow Leopard:
Mac computer with an Intel processor
1GB of memory
5GB of available disk space
DVD drive for installation
For many Macs that are running 10.4, it may have a Power G4 type processor, in which case you would only be able to go to OSX 10.5, Leopard which is hard to find. Best of luck!- Answered by Milithza M from Peyton
