Will this work with an iPad Gen 2?
Will this work with an iPad Gen 2?
The Apple website lists the iPad Gen 2 as Compatible, but the Apogee Duet for iPad/iPhone box I have, and their website, both only list iPad 4th Gen and above. (Maybe they've made a newer gen of Apogee Duets? My box says 2016)
Is it a question of the iOS version? Because if so it seems I'm good. The Apple website says 5.1.1 or later and the Apogee box says 6 or later. My research indicates that my iPad 2 I ordered will exceed these...- Asked by Zachary S from Midvale

duet 2
Is this the Apogee Duet 2, or just the Duet?
Description says Duet but it looks like the Duet 2.- Asked by Yong Lian Y

AnswerThis is the latest "Duet for iPad and Mac," or the third generation of Duet. It shares the same analog and conversion technology as Duet 2, but adds USB MIDI and iOS functionality.

AnswerDuet for iPad and Mac will work with iOS devices. Because iPod classics run on their own operating, system they would not be compatible with Duet.
