Any special consideration when using a Wacom intros photo with new MacBook Pro (USB-C)? I know I'll need a USB to USB-C adapter.

AnswerYou'll definitely need a USB-C adapter, which is really frustrating. So far on this new MacBook I have bought $250 worth of adapters for VGA, HDMI, and USB. Yes, the HDMI adapter has a USB port, but I don't always want to carry around this huge adapter...I want a small adapter that fits in my slim case.
I am wondering what the connection to the Intuos pad itself is...maybe a micro USB? Possibly the solution is just to switch out the cable on the Intuos to a micro USB to USB-C? I'll report back when I figure this out.- Answered by Kat K from Austin

Does the Wacom intros Pro, Small connect wirelessly to the new MacBook Pro 15"? I don't want to use any of the TB ports for a dongle.
I don't want to use any of the Thunderbolt 3 ports for a dongle or a USB cable with adaptor. Direct Bluetooth connection is what I am seeking. The product says it comes with a wireless kit. I am not sure what that would be other than a dongle.

AnswerThe new Wacom tablets (Wacom Intuos Pro M and L) are wireless via bluetooth 4.2.
The older formfactor Intuos pro model (Intuos Pro S on the Wacom website) uses a USB dongle for wireless much like the budget non-pro tablets.- Answered by Jason A from Lancaster

Answer
It comes down to user preference and individual need. I am a photographer and usually edit in small areas of an image; I have a 27" monitor and use the small Intuos pro. The small is great for portability and easily fits in a briefcase with a laptop. Illustrators, graphic designers and painters tend to want a larger work area. Hope that helps!:)

Can you use written programs like Final Draft on this?
I work in film and am trying to find a product that I can use on set to make notes directly onto the script. This pen looks like it is thin enough to write like a pen on paper, but does the tablet support the tech I would need to use?

AnswerIf Final Draft supports annotation and markup, you can use an Intuos pen tablet to do this.

Can you connect this to your iPad air (Yosemite) to use with Lightroom.
- Asked by Sharon V from Hope Island

AnswerYou cannot connect this to an iPad, because iPads do not have USB ports. In addition to that, iPads run iOS, a mobile operating system, not OS X, a desktop operating system, therefore it would be impossible to load the drivers on to the device. This will connect to a Mac perfectly fine. I have an intros 5 ( last generation) running on Yosemite. It works flawlessly.
