Is the surface of this hardshell case as slippery as the MacBook Pro's own case, which is very difficult to get a good grasp on?
- Asked by Penelope W from Portland
- 5/03/2016
- Flag as inappropriate (Is the surface of this hardshell case as slippery as the MacBook Pro's own case, which is very difficult to get a good grasp on?)
AnswerIt's smooth but not as slippery as the MBP. Kind of a different feel, since it is plastic. The base also has air holes to keep the machine cool that allows a decent grip.

Answer
Yes - if you can't open your screen past 90 degrees without forcing it, your base plate is on incorrectly.

Answer
I've had the clear version on for about 6-8months now, took it off yesterday for a clean. It has left no marks on the body of my computer that I saw. The case fits flush to the body of the laptop, so there shouldn't be any friction between the laptop and case.
However, if there is dust or dirt between the casing and the laptop, it may mark the computer. An Apple salesperson told me to wipe down my laptop with a cloth before I fitted it to make sure that didn't happen.- Answered by Alexandra B from Sydney

Does the case have any problem with the clips ( at the corners) crack or break?
Most of the case I've had were having the clips crack or break after a while of using that I find it very troublesome and waste the money. I'm currently looking for a good case with good looking, classic, and will not have any problem with the clips crack or break.

Does this provide good protection for my mac? Has anyone tried it out?
- Asked by Dunija A from Brisbane
- 9/07/2015
- Flag as inappropriate (Does this provide good protection for my mac? Has anyone tried it out?)
Best Answer:I bought this immediatly after receiving my MacBook Pro for my birthday, it covers well but you still have access to everything you need and yes it provides good protection, prevents your MacBook from getting scratched and scuffed. I think the price is great considering what it is protecting. Well worth the money in my opinion.
