AnswerProbably not that far. Do you have power out that far? If so, then you might want to use a pair of power line adapters to bridge the distance and get a couple of airport expresses

What cable do i need to hook up airport extreme to apple tv?
- Asked by Jessi G from Colorado Springs

- Flag as inappropriate (What cable do i need to hook up airport extreme to apple tv?)
AnswerYou don't need a cable; Apple TV has built-in wireless support. You simply select your wireless network name in the Settings menu and enter the password. You only need to do this once, as the network and password are memorized by the Apple TV.
But if you prefer to use a cable, any standard Ethernet cable with RJ45 connectors at both ends will do the job.- Answered by Julian B from Baie-d'urfe

I need to be able to secure my Airport & Express to keep employees from stealing them. Any suggestions?
AirPort Extreme & Express are in a high traffic area. I am afraid that employees will steal them and need to be able secure them so that they don't "walk" off. I've searched online for security locks but I'm not having much luck. I found one by a UK company but I am hoping to find a US based company. Any referrals will be appreciated.

airport extreme for back up---more than one computer?

AnswerYou'll need the time machine version to back up unless you connect another proprietry harddrive to the network. In both cases that will cope with multiple machine backups. You are only limitwed by the size of the harddrive in relation to the siz (space used) of harddrives installed on your computer(s)

Will Final Cut X be able to see a Hard Drive attached via USB over the Wi-Fi network?
At the moment, FCP X doesn't see a drive unless there is storage attached directly to the computer via USB, Firewire or SAN.
Will FCP X see any hard drive over the Wi-Fi network that is attatched to the new Airport Ex?
Basically, is this new Airport Ex a sort of NAS?- Asked by Jamie M from Reading

Where is the "radio mode" setting in the new 2013 802.11AC Airport Extreme?
I want to set both bands on the router to wireless N. At the moment, the 2.4ghz channel is defaulting to b/g, with speed reductions on that band as a result. I have a separate wireless network for b/g devices and I want to restrict the new 2013 airport express router to N. This was possible on earlier models.

Answer
I use an extender with the Airport Extreme. I have not had any problems. The only hassle was figuring out how to get the extender to work properly as the extender documentation was vague at best. It's important to note that the Extreme didn't need to have the signal boosted, but I had previously purchased the extender and decided to incorporate it into the mix.
For most part it is easy to set up, but you have to read your documentation and know your exact Network name and password. The extender should see it and guide you through the steps to get you started.- Answered by Jacki B from Garland
