Can I Sync an airport from home to one from work via icloud?
Syncing airports

AnswerShort answer: No. Unfortunately you can't use iCloud in that way, but, depending on what you are trying to do, you can share network disks over the internet through the Airport. You can also access printers in this way. Also, you can completely control your Mac through the internet with Back to My Mac turned on. Hopefully this helps!

Would this work in a commercial building between concrete floors?
Our office takes up several floors, I'm assuming that I would have to get multiple AirPort Extremes and link them together, but I'm curious if anyone else has tried this approach. Thanks!

Can you lay it down?
Just was wondering.. I have a tight space in my entertainment center. Will it be just as functional laying on its side?
- Asked by Atta Y from Bronx

AnswerNo. It will still work, but it will be less functional. The broadcasting is more effective and better ranged when emitted from the sides of the antenna. Since this new design is taller (due to the multi-antenna positioning), laying the router down would likely send ore power towards your floor and ceiling (and laterally from the side - assuming the top of the router is facing your couch).

Currently leasing a cable/wifi combo from COMCAST. It stinks. Buying a new Modem. Is the Airport Ext. that much better than say a $20 TP-LINK router?
I can get both a new Cable Modem and the TP-Link Wi-Fi for $106. Wondering if the AirPort Extreme is worth it. I really want great RANGE and speed. Have a 2200 sq ft colonial and want great service on second floor. I get COMCAST Blast internet service.
I am sure it is a great investment, just wondering if it is worth the heftier price tag? Thanks! No answers yet

Does Airport Express or Airport Extreme Time Capsule allow me to use iTunes HomeSharing on my Apple TV without using an internet connection?
The Reason I ask is because I am using Home Sharing over my Wi-Fi and it is extremely slow to upload a movie and I am not sure if it uses up my data?

Will the AirPort Extreme work with a cellular internet dongle?
Can I plug a 3G or LTE cellular wireless internet dongle (USB) into this router to share the internet connection with the local network; or does it require a hardwired ethernet source?
Thanks,- Asked by Michael T from Bragg Creek

Best Answer:It will not work. The USB port, on a AirPort Extreme, is only for USB hard drives and USB printers or a USB hub for the previous mentioned items. You can find the details for the USB port usage on Apples support, search for HT2421.
