Answer
If it's as thin as Apple's case it will work. I tried the dock using a Tech21 case and it's a no go.

If I use my iPhone as an alarm, will my alarm still sound when docked?
I'm concerned that since there is a dedicated audio output on the back of the dock, that all sound will be muted unless plugged into a speaker through an AUX cord.
Thanks!- Asked by Andrew K from Hanahan

AnswerYes, it will sound just fine. The audio output on the back is optional if you'd like to plug headphones in and listen while it's charging since the headphone port is blocked when it's docked. I use mine just to charge and the audio plays from the phone the same as it would if it was plugged into a standard lightning cable.

Answer
I wouldn't recommend it at all. The iPad Air 2 is too large and there's no support at the bottom for the small Lightning pin. It would topple right over.

Answer
The 6 and 6s are very similar. The 6s is slightly thicker, but so unnoticeable that most cases that fit the 6 will fit the 6s. I personally like the dock for my 6s, as it allows an upright position for my phone without being too bulky. But I must admit that it doesn't do anything beyond what it promises--it's just a charging dock. If you just want your phone charged, spending $50 on a dock when your phone comes with a cord is a bit unnecessary, but if you care about aesthetics and having your phone charging upright, then go with the dock.

Does the iPhone dock have a sticky base/something to keep it from lifting off the table when you pick up the phone from the dock?
Does the dock have a sticky base to keep it from lifting from the table surface when you pick up the phone with one hand, or do you have to use two hands, i.e. one to hold the dock down and another to pick up the phone when docked?
Best Answer:It has a grippy base to keep it from sliding, but it does not stick in such a way to keep it from lifting. To take the iPhone off of the dock you need to put pressure down on the dock, whether this be with two hands, or with one hand by putting your hand down on the dock while lifting the iPhone with your thumb and index finger. It's not the most comfortable to do it with one hand, but it's certainly possible.

Answer
Yes, but not if you don't already have a plug that will work in the US.
To clarify, this is the iPhone lightning dock. This effectively does the exact same thing as what your charger currently does, with the added benefit of standing the phone up for ease of viewing. This does not do the power adapter/converting for you.- Answered by William G from Tulsa

The dock needs to be heavy enough to stay in place. How heavy is it?
- Asked by Eric S from Grants Pass

- Flag as inappropriate (The dock needs to be heavy enough to stay in place. How heavy is it?)
AnswerOn the bottom there is a rubber foot and it's weighted for stability. It's wider because of the iPhone 6Plus. It does move side to side on the connector. Also you do need to hold down the dock to remove your phone from the charger. So it is not that heavy but its stable enough to hold the iPhone 6 and 6Plus
