    Milanese loop is faulty

    • Written by Ronald P from Fulton

Just purchased new 40mm stainless with gold milanese loop. The band falls out of the bracket that slides on watch causing the watch to fall. My 38mm watch with the same type of band does not. The magnet end can't come out. This new one does and is a very dangerous flaw in design. I don't want my watch to keep falling every time I take it off.

    Color fading after a month

    • Written by DeLanda L from Boulder

I love this band but very disappointed in the quality. The color is fading badly after only a month. It now looks somewhat striped with darker edges. Almost rusty. Don’t recommend this band.

Terrible! gets knocked loose so it can slip off of your wrist, and WORSE

    • Written by SUDHA N from Saratoga

The end of the loop just slips out of the end when you go to loosen the watch to take it off! The watch just fell off of my wrist!!!!

I have had the first gen stainless milanese loop with my first apple watch, the ceramic 2nd gen one came with a plastic loop. This is way worse in quality than my first gen version. The plastic that came with gen 2 ceramic edition was too hot and sweaty. The magnet is weak weak weak! It keeps slipping loose in the middle of a workout. I don't want to change bands all the time.

Milanese Loop Band has a BIG flaw

    • Written by Ralph C from GREAT NECK

I was very excited to purchase separately the Gold Milanese Loop. Very disappointed do not buy. The band falls out of the bracket that slides on watch causing the watch to fall. This is very unsafe not to mention the price you pay. I also have the 38mm Black Milanese from last year, this does not happen. What happened Apple, this new one is a major flaw in design. I don't want my expensive stainless steel 40 mm watch to keep falling every time I take it off. I will be returning this right away to Apple.

    Poor quality...go with Amazon

    • Written by Kristin M from Hinsdale

I have a lot of Apple brand loyalty but this product is not up to their standards. After just a couple months, it looks terrible...gold has started wearing off. You’re much better off going with a less expensive version on Amazon and replacing it when it gets beaten up. Apple also isn’t willing to help in any way once the band looks worn.

    Do not buy this band!

    • Written by Marisa R B from New York

I received the gold 40mm watch and gold milanese loop band for my birthday in January. Fast forward 4 months of daily wear later (NEVER getting wet) and the finish has worn off in random spots all over the band. It even leaves a residue on my wrist if I wear the watch for multiple days without taking it off. I am so incredibly disappointed by the poor craftsmanship of this band and it is obscene to me that it carried a price tag of $150. Save yourself the heartache and trouble and go with a leather or sport band instead. Better yet, don't even buy the apple branded bands, buy them through a 3rd party. Nothing can be of poorer quality than what I am stuck with!

    Causes pinches with hair

    • Written by ROGERS S from Sarasota

I paid extra to get this band but it is impossible to use comfortably because it catches in my wrist hair and causes pain. I bought a Milanese loop on Amazon for a low price but it's great. No hair pinches. Why can't Apple do at least as well?

    Unloop?!

    • Written by Susan B from San Antonio

One of the things Ive always loved about the Milanese band is that it never unloops.

Of course I learned this the hard way when my watch dropped day 1....

    Not very happy

    • Written by Cornelia C from Brisbane

I have had the 1st generation watch and millenese band and loved it. I even convinced my cousin to get one for Christmas as mine has never failed but I recieved the new gen 4 watch and band from my family and I’m very disappointed. The band does not stay on and the magnet is very weak compared to original one.
My cousin wore her new on on Christmas Day and nearly lost it as it fell off her wrist 3 times.
I’m going take it back and complain as the quality is not good with this new band! I could understand if it was a copy but it is a genuine apple one!
    Not happy apple
