    Not as expected

    Everything is perfect with build and stuff but the connection and the software issues are the worst part of this product. I use this with my Samsung Galaxy S9 and there is always a problem. It's either not producing any sound or playing from only 1 side.

    Great with one exception

    These are the most comfortable EarPods I've ever used. HOWEVER, they will not pair with two different Apple products. I've used them with my Apple Watch with immediate pairing when I put them on. BUT if I then try to pair them with my iPhone, they just will NOT pair - VERY, VERY frustrating. I've tried every combo - turned off my Apple Watch and tried to pair with iPhone - no success! Seems Powerbeats Pro only meant to pair with one device at a time. My previous Apple EarPods never had this problem - nor do my Bose QC3511 wireless earphones.

    They work, sometimes. Apple Support useless

    They work, sometimes. Most of the time they don't. They cannot maintain a reliable connection for phone calls. They only sometimes are able to be reliable for listening to music. Do I have a lemon or is the entire line bad? I can't tell you because Apple support has been giving me a run around for weeks about this. They can't fix them in tech support and won't replace them. So very disapointed.

    Great When They Charge

    These are fantastic earphones when they're working. I've been battling an issue since the week I got them with the left earphone not always charging. The connections for charging are very sensitive, so it's tough to know if they're connected and charging when you shut the case. I've frequently arrived at the gym and opened the case to find one earphone at 0%, which is incredibly frustrating. Fortunately, they do charge fast, so you can get some use out of them after just 5-10 minutes of charging. This seems to be a common issue on the Apple discussions, and Apple support just wants you to reset the case or send in your earphones. It doesn't seem to usually be faulty products but just a faulty overall design, so be forewarned. Apple still has some refining to do on this expensive product, which is unfortunate since everyone was so excited for an active version of AirPods.

    Most frustrating headphones I have ever owned.

    You're lucky if you manage to get both buds to charge when you put them in the case.
    You're even luckier if both decide to pair with your phone when you remove them from the case.

    These have totally wrecked my commute on more than one occasion. I miss the AirPods I replaced with these.

    Problem! Problem!

    I got an issue, my right earbud stops charging sometimes and it's kinda frustrating when I needed to use them and the battery run out even though I just took them out from the charging case. It was working fine for the first month but not afterward.

    Best earphones I've ever had & I HATE them

    This are fantastic earphones - sound great & don't get in the way when I'm working out BUT they CONSTANTLY loose the bluetooth connection - it's infuriating. I have to reset & reinstall them about every other time I use them which doesn't take long but when I grab them to head out & then have to drop everything I'm doing to reinstall the dang things again it kinda drives you crazy. Not only that they don't charge evenly - I'll have them charging all night, throw them on in the morning, & within minutes they shut down because the right earphone was at 1% or something and the other is fully charged

    Music cuts in and out

    These headphones are great when using them in your house or when no one else is around you. However, when I use them in the gym where there are other people who use bluetooth headphones, the music keeps cutting in and out. The more people there are, the worse they cut out. My PowerBeats 2 had the same problem, but were much better for not cutting out. The powerbeats pro cut out much more frequently, usually at least once per song. This problem is very annoying when using them. I mainly purchased them to use in the gym. So since they cut out every song while in the gym, they are practically useless for me.

    Inferior sound quality compared to Sony's WF-1000XM3

    Good connectivity but what's the point if the sound quality is bad? The only use case I can see is someone who needs earbuds that will stay in their ear and is willing to sacrifice sound quality for that. Otherwise, if what you are looking for are wireless earbuds with great sound quality, get the Sony WF-1000XM3. I have both and the Sony's have much better sound quality. Connectivity is not as easy and seamless as the Powerbeats but I care more about sound quality than a few taps or clicks. The Powerbeats Pro sound tinny and soulless compared to the Sony WF-1000XM3. The Sony's get you excited about the music you are listening to. The Powerbeats Pro do not make me excited about my music. Given that the Sony's are the same price as the Powerbeats, I would urge you to get the Sony's unless you need workout headphones and you are willing to sacrifice sound quality. A major fail by Beats's audio engineers.

    The Powerbeats themselves work great...the case?...NOT SO MUCH

    As the title implies, I’ve had none of the issues mentioned in other reviews such as connectivity issues. However, I can’t use the headphones if they’re not charged, and about 33% of the time, I open the charging case to see that one of the ear pieces is near dead. I always check on my iPhone when I put them in the case to ensure they’re both charging, however, despite my diligence, charging sometimes stops on one or the other (sometimes even both). I have a feeling Apple didn’t do enough field testing on the charging case. Such a shame.

    Very Disappointed!!!

    I was excited for the release of the powerboat pro until I purchased them after they first came out, the problem is the telephone conversation is to low for me to hear, yes I have tried everything to turn up the volume me and Apple techs as well I have returned them once to No avail no change at all, this past weekend my last shot at hoping for a fix I went to the Apple store that's 120 miles from me to let a store tech try to help well that didn't work either the tech also got another pair of pros and tried them with the same result...The problem is the music is load and I can hear it fine it's just phone calls I know that telephone calls are from cell towers and the quality want be as good as bluetooth, but I had the AirPods before and they worked just fine for telephone calls, I was looking forward to the PB Pros because of the way they wrap around your ears I lost one of my AirPods before and the battery life is awesome ..Hear's the Scoop if you want to listen to better quality music go with the Pro's if your like me the quality and loudness of a phone call is more important go with the AirPods..Hopefully this may save someone $250 bucks!!

    Ok, these are Beats right? Why is the max volume so low? With volume max on iPhone and PBP it’s still lacking.

    Buyer Beware

    I received what I have to believe is a lemon pair. I read reviews saying that the connection issues with these earphones and the iPhone were "disappointing". I bought a pair anyway. First day, they were great. The earpiece over the ear is very helpful. Day two. . . Would not connect. . . .put earphones back in case and took out several times to get them to connect. . . .Got worse over next couple of weeks. Followed all instructions on beatsbydre.com. Nothing helped. It got to the point that I had to have my phone forget the earphones daily to get them to work, and then normally only one piece would work. They would regularly go out while using. (I use the earphones at the gym at 5am when the gym is not crowded, so there is not a lot of competition for Bluetooth that should be creating issues.) I took the earphones to the Apple Store today, about 1.5 hours away from me. I had to wait for an appointment for another two hours. There was some corrosion on one of the earpieces. This would only come from regular use (sweat), as they have never been used outside in the rain or dropped in a toilet or anything of that nature. I was told that they could not help me, but that I should reach out to the online support. I did. I was told that I could buy a new pair. Never again will I buy any Apple "supported" earphones. Their "support" of the product they sell is non-existent. This was a clear case of a bad set and they would rather lose a faithful customer than replace the defective set. Shame on you, Apple.

    Best Beats product yet

    I have had literally every model of the Powerbeats. These are the best.
    Unlike the previous models, these are Wonderful for phone calls, use one at a time and I can talk all day long. Immediate connection to my phone, zero issues (iPhone XS Max and iPhone 11 Max). One thing though, you MUST purchase Comply Sport Pro Premium Memory Foam Earphone Tips for these. The rubber tips that come with these aren’t sufficient. They DO fit in the charging case. These sound great too, although Bluetooth has volume limitations. I do wish I could turn them up louder. Turning off the equalizer makes these Bluetooth headphones a little louder. Make sure you bend the hooks to fit your ears perfectly.

    Amazing for Sport!

    If you're looking for a pair of earphones primarily for use in the gym or running, then look no further. These fit my ears so much more securely than my AirPods, they never feel like they're going to slip out. The sound quality is significantly better also. Whilst the AirPods are probably better for daily use, the case is smaller and they are easier to place in and out of your ear (the PowerBeats can be a little fiddly putting on), the fact the PowerBeats feel secure makes them a win for me, especially on long runs which I do regularly. It comes down to what you want from them.

    Love hate relationship

    These things are great when they work. Sound is great, they stay in your ear during a vigorous workout. Charging reliability is *terrible*. I learned the hard way you have to be very careful to line up the charging pins and make sure from your iOS device that both L and R are charging. Even so, when I let them sit a day or 2 in a fully charged case, more often than not the charge in L or R is *completely drained*. Had AirPods before and they are quirky also. But the Beats are totally unreliable, all the more frustrating when I like them so much. Come on Apple, get your act together. In the old days Steve’s head would have exploded over quality issues like this. Now a days, seems like nobody cares.

    Charging issues & Connectivity - Powerbeats Pro - Totally Wireless

    Initially this product was awesome for a month or so, but then constantly having issues with either the left or right ear bud getting charged. You will find yourself constantly adjusting the headset in the charging case until you see the charging icon for the headset on your phone. Sometimes you will spend 5-10 minutes to make sure the headset is being charged and then find out it only charged one of the headset. I brought it into Apple and it was passed the refund period, and so had it sent in to get it fixed. Still to this day having issues charging the headset, constantly adjusting it that I just gave up and going back to the Airpods. This is definitely not worth paying that much for a headset with this much issue.

    Not a good product - read below and thank me later

    I am on my second pair. first pair stopped pairing with my iPhone. Guy in Apple Store finally agreed they were defective. Gave me a new set, worked for 2 weeks (warrantee period of course) not i have to repair them every few days. Hate having to drag around that huge case as if they become unpaired, its nearly impossible to get them paired again without that case. The opening of the case to pair is not a feature, but a major inconvenience. works inconsistently and requires you to have that massive case with you. Sound is just ok, not great. Pass on these - I am stuck with them now and don't use them. Back to my Senn MTW's (which are amazing)
