I bought the Beats by Dr Dre Powerbeats Totally Wireless headphones in Black about 3 months ago now and I LOVE them. I found the sound quality really good, they're easy to use, comfortable, stylish and just make listening to music / audiobooks so much easier.

I bought them cos I plan on getting more into exercising and loosing weight and corded headphones can just be a royal pain in the backside. But having wireless headphones makes things so easy. So long as my phone is reasonably close, hello uninterrupted Beats. I tested them out by having my phone in my bedroom and walking into the kitchen (which is at the opposite end of the house). Absolutely flawless, no interference, non-stop start, just music, music, music!

I had considered buying over the ear headphones because alot of the time I find the more comfortable than in ear headphones. But due to wearing glasses all the time, the arms of my glasses make over ear headphones a tiny bit uncomfortable (no matter the brand). These find really well with having to wear glasses. I usually take my glasses off, pop on/in the Powerbeats and then put my glasses back on. For me this way I can make sure the headphones are secured to my ear and no my glasses!

    Highly recommend these headphones!!!!!

This should be the only review you need if you are an athlete. BUY THEM. They stay in your ears like a steel bolt, they are comfortable while doing any workout, and they are sweat resistant. I'm a boxer and these stay in during the most intense bag sessions and don't skip a beat. If you are a regular average person though, look elsewhere the case is too big to carry around practically. The sound is phenomenal considering these are beats earbuds and beats has not been so great with their run in the past. The tactile buttons are much preferred and it makes sense that Apple has gone that route because these are geared towards athletes. They had Anthony Joshua in the ad... nuff said. Long story short, Athletes must buy, the average person or average gym-goer, try airpods and if they don't fit then go for these bad boys. The completely average joe, 9-5, 2 kids, gym maybe 4 times a month then don't bother with these. They won't make you happy when you have to carry the case around all day. At the time of this review the Airpods Pro is released and boy, if you want the perfect earbud for everyday use and practicality then you better pick them up while you can!

    Love these

    • Written by Joseph K from Reno

I have had these since June and they are the best for working out. I prefer them over Airpods V1 and V2, Bose Soundsport Frees, Jaybirds and the multiple wired earbuds I have owned.. They are the most comfortable and sound great. I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. I have had one of the buds not connect but it fixed itself after putting them back in the case and pulling them out again. The three headphones I use in my rotation are these(working out) Airpods V2(walking dog/casual activities/travel due to size), and Bose QC 35II(work and when I need noise cancellation). I am not loyal to any particular brand I just want the best. These are it for me when it comes to true wireless compact buds.

PowerBeats are an asset to your life.

    • Written by Anthony P from Toronto

I have purchased my Powerbeats Pro at Square One Apple Store Mississauga, ON and I have absolutely no regrets for this purchase. This was such an asset to my life as I love the H1 Chip is present within these in-ear earphones. The earphones fit my ears perfectly and gives a good seal to seal out the outside noise! The H1 Chip lets me switch between all of my Apple products without hassling with the settings app. I think that Apple has dome a great work with their innovation when it comes to their accessories and their H1 Chip. I love the reduced latency when switching audio to my iPad Pro second generation, iPhone 11 Pro Max, MacBook Pro, and even!! EVEN 1!!!!11!1 my iMac Pro. I definitely recommend this amazing product from beats and apple! I want to give all of my thanks and regards to Apple. They have changed my life! Would give this product more than 5 stars. TBH RATE?! BMS!

    Best Beats product yet

    • Written by Dominic P from Broomfield

I have had literally every model of the Powerbeats. These are the best.
Unlike the previous models, these are Wonderful for phone calls, use one at a time and I can talk all day long. Immediate connection to my phone, zero issues (iPhone XS Max and iPhone 11 Max). One thing though, you MUST purchase Comply Sport Pro Premium Memory Foam Earphone Tips for these. The rubber tips that come with these aren’t sufficient. They DO fit in the charging case. These sound great too, although Bluetooth has volume limitations. I do wish I could turn them up louder. Turning off the equalizer makes these Bluetooth headphones a little louder. Make sure you bend the hooks to fit your ears perfectly.

    Amazing for Sport!

    • Written by Declan M from Ludlow

If you're looking for a pair of earphones primarily for use in the gym or running, then look no further. These fit my ears so much more securely than my AirPods, they never feel like they're going to slip out. The sound quality is significantly better also. Whilst the AirPods are probably better for daily use, the case is smaller and they are easier to place in and out of your ear (the PowerBeats can be a little fiddly putting on), the fact the PowerBeats feel secure makes them a win for me, especially on long runs which I do regularly. It comes down to what you want from them.

    Everything I Expected and More

    • Written by John B from Michigan city

These are the best headphones on the planet. When I bought them I was looking for a upgrade from my Powerbeats pro 2 and right away I could tell they were amazing. They’ve definitely upped the sound quality from years previous. My biggest concern however was battery life, and I went from having to charge my headphones once or twice a day to only having to charge them about once a week. My only suggestion would be to maybe send a notification when you’re charging case does but even then you still have 9 hours of battery life which is plenty. Pairing and checking your battery is seamless and more convenient then ever. The noise canceling works way better then I was anticipating and I can’t hear anything other then my music when it’s playing. The only thingn I have against it is that they are a little quieter then my Powerbeats pro 2 but still provide sufficient volume (about the same volume as AirPods). A great product I’d recommend to anyone looking for wireless headphones.

    Best Headphones on Market

    • Written by Stephen S from Washington

These headphones are phenomenal. I have never owned any other audio products that have worked better than the PowerBeats Pro.

Connectivity is flawless and the sound is true to life and absolutely stunning. Hey Siri and the adjustable volume control on either headphone is a game changer! Anyone considering buying these for workouts over any competing brands like the Bose Soundsport Frees or even the AirPods, I highly suggest them. I have had them since June and have never had any problems with them at all!

    Impressive bit of kit

    • Written by Hayley R from Guildford

I bought these to replace a pair of Atomic Floyd Superdarts so I was looking for similar great sound quality and noise isolation. I was not disappointed - the Powerbeats Pro's delivered on all my requirements and more. I found them a little difficult to sit comfortably in my ears at first (I have a conch piercing) but it took less than an hour to get them to sit right. They don't budge when worn whilst walking/jogging/running. They maintain the noise isolation and they do have excellent sound quality.
I read on one of the other reviews that the EQ on Apple devices does not work with these headphones but I haven't found this to be the case - mine works fine both on my iPhone and iPad.
Also someone mentioned the charging case is bulky but I don't agree with this. If you were putting the case in your trouser pocket then maybe, yes, but if you have a bag it's fine. Plus - it's very durable so for the price of these headphones i'd prefer knowing they were safe in their charging case than rolling around in my pocket/bag. The case also charges your headphones even when it's not plugged in - so if you wear your headphones on your morning commute and put them back in the case when you arrive at work, the case will re-charge them. When plugged in the case is charged which in turn charges your headphones. Clever bit of kit. Overall I am very pleased with them and would definitely recommend them.

    Great Headphones

    • Written by Logan R from Gladwin

The technology is flawless and is easy to use over multiple devices. These are a little more expensive than the Airpods, but I love my Beats. They take a little getting used to, but they are comfortable and stay in my ears very well. Also, I haven't had any issues wearing them with my glasses. I would definitely recommend this product.

    In spite of AirPods

    • Written by Daniel T from Gilroy

AirPods didn’t stay in my ears. I loved them but I couldn’t abide blinking too hard and causing them to fall out. I bought the PowerBeats Pro, and I am very pleased. These bad boys stay on and in my ears until I grab them and pull them out. Period. They don’t seal my ear canal like an earplug, which was my experience with regular silicone-tipped earbuds. The PowerBeats clip gently over my ears and seal just enough to provide good bass (not overpowered Beats bass) and a great range of sound for all types of music and games. Yes, they seal the ear canal. Yes, they allow some ambient noise, but not when your tunes are cranked up. No, they don’t fall out at the slightest movement. If you want all the features of the AirPods and none of the frustrations, just buy these.

Powerbeats Pro better than my Bose soundlink

    • Written by Maria J from Haywards Heath

Ok so I was hesitant to buy these, because of the not so good reviews, but most of the not so good reviews ,haven’t bought the powerbeats pro just for workouts &gym , but these earbuds are for working out not fashion or sitting around using two or three devices at same time complaining they have to reset an link to next device, case is to big blah blah blah ( case is for gym bag )Well Powerbeats are NOT made for looking good , they made for the gym getting sweaty working out ,

So I bought them for gym , they loud too, clear sound better than my Bose over the ear soundlink , the powerbeats have a clearer sound absolutely perfect for the gym . I have no issues with them at all if ur buying for the gym I would recommend 110% they do exactly what they are made for .love them

Very Good - Buying Second Pair

    • Written by Alicia D from St Agnes

Better than my friends AirPods. Fits any ear nicely and are flexible. Seems like a higher price but definitely
worth it. I am going to buy my brother a pair for his birthday because they are good. Very good audio quality, base is defiantly bopping with these.

    Comfortable and Sound Blocking

    • Written by Dana D from Alexandria

Everyone is different, so this review is my personal opinion. I LOVE these so far. They block sound in the gym and are so comfortable. I am picky and rarely leave reviews, but I had to for these. They feel like the wireless Powerbeats, you will love these. They feel similar but without the annoying cord that gets stuck to my neck when I sweat. I have small ears and didn’t have to change the ear tip out either. They fit perfect and so not move at all. Some people asked if they will fall out of your ear, they do not. I do sprints and it hasn’t fallen or even moved at all. They block the gym noise out as well. Feels like I’m under water. Some people said the sound is low, but goodness how loud do you want them? They are loud for me. I guess everyone is different. I give these a 5 star and hope my review remains the same after a month plus of usage. I’ve only used them for a week now. Good luck.

    Best wireless wireless headphones ever

    • Written by Jake D from Canton

When I saw the price tag I was sceptical, but upon buying the power beats pro I realized what all the fuss was about. These have one of the best sound quality that I have experienced in my life, an amazing battery life; these things last longer than any other wireless headphones, and they are very comfortable and the Bluetooth connection is impeccable. 100% recommend to anyone who works out a lot because they say in your ear unlike the AirPods which easily would fall out if you as to moved. Apple has made what I call Perfection. I can’t find one bad thing about them.

    Better than Airpods

    • Written by vince Z from chicago

I have been looking for a quality headphone that doesnt fall out of my ear and does a good job at restricting outside noise. these headphones do both of that and I couldnt be happier. They are on the steeper side in terms of price, but if you dont abuse them the cost over time if well worth it. I highly suggest purchasing these if you are not a fan of airpods.
