    Advancing into what

    The Air Pods do not meet the standard of innovation to which its marketing campaign heralds it to be. Instead as I talk to someone in the same city, around the block even, the reception sounds as if its a foreign country connection. Is this what $159 buys these days? A local long-distance sounding call with two people talking as if translating foreign languages to each other. This device is only good for listening to your music. And who wants to spend $159 just for that. I'm sorry...Apple has to get back to providing technological innovation and sophistication that matches the products aesthetic presentation or else what's the point? I have had them for almost a month and will return tomorrow. Highly disappointed.

    If You Sweat, These Are Not For You

    Bought these AirPods four months ago and was a little concerned at the start— my husband told me the sound from my microphone was awful (he was hearing the NYC background noise and not my voice)— but I kept wearing them because I liked them. More and more the headphones would either drop calls or the phone connection and then the left one stopped charging and sensing my ear altogether. I took them to the Genius Bar and the guy I spoke to was super nice but told me that there was water corrosion, likely due to sweat (he said multiple people who work at the store had the same problem). Because it was “water damage” the warranty was nullified and there’s nothing they could do to help me. $150 down the drain. So if you’re someone who sweats (like when it’s 100 degrees in the subway or walking to and from work) definitely do not purchase these. And don’t even think about using these for working out. What a waste of money.

    Poor Battery

    I owned 1st generation and the charge would last so much longer than the generation 2. Gave Gen 1 to my daughter and upgraded because I thought I would get longer battery life and better connection but I was wrong, very disappointed with battery life and on top of that my daughter won’t trade back with me. Only Apple product I’ve been dissatisfied with.

    5TH PAIR OF 2ND GENS

    I originally bought the 1st gen airpods and i had them for a year with absolutely NO problems, BEST product i’ve purchased. but you know after a year it starts to show some wear but they were still good i just thought it was time “FoR aN uPgRaDe” WRONG. i’ve gone through 5 pairs of the airpod 2s, yes, FIVE. and every time i have to go to my local apple store in the mall and get them replaced because one of the ears just COMPLETELY goes bad. and not only that but you can tell the difference between the 1s and 2s because the 2s feel like cheep plastic wank compared to the 1s. moral of the story, if you have airpod 1s, keep them because it’s not an upgrade it’s a downgrade and i am so disappointed.

    they are the worst

    They are the absolute worst. Each ear pod only last for a max of 2 hours. The max!! so you never can wear both of them at the same time or you will have no headset. i thought it was just my pair, then my friend stated his was the EXACT SAME WAY. Do you buy them. i know alot of us are die hard apple fans, but this is by far the worst product that they have made. i have had alot of head sets that normally range from $40 to $80. Just stick with the other brands because this was a complete waste of money,

    I have been using these for less than 1 month and the left one COMPLETELY stopped working. Don’t ever waste your money on these and get a cheaper option cause it is not worth it!!

    Will be choosing Bose next time

    I bought the AirPods around 3 months ago and I'm already pretty regretful. I love apple products and usually have no problems whatsoever but these have really been irritating. The right AirPod has completely stopped worked and it only displays the left AirPod and case percentage when it comes up on my phone or laptop. The right AirPod went from working perfectly fine, to not at all. While both of them worked I noticed that not only did they fall out quite frequently but the sound quality wasn't the best either. I love the idea of AirPods and I think they're cool, but to be frank they are uncomfortable and a waste of time for me. They worked well the first couple months and I noticed a gradual decline in the quality of the product. They look cool and have a nice design but they are nothing exceptional and if you really want wireless earbuds I urge you to go with Bose instead, the AirPods work just as well as the earbuds that come with your phone. would not recommend .

    Constant static, interference, cutting out

    The new airpods work fine when I'm at home but walk down any busy street in New York and there's constant static, interference, and cutting out. It sounds like trying to get a bad radio transmission. Have updated to the latest firmware (1A673) and still having the same issue. It's really frustrating and makes it impossible to enjoy the product.

    Battery discharges too fast

    My Airpods batteries discharge when not in the case. If I leave them with 100% charge overnight out of the case, in the morning they are at 0%. The shop replaced them but the problem persists also with the new pair. Apple service people tell me it's by design. This is supposed to be a Bluetooth V.5 device (low energy) and I find this rate of discharge rare. My other $35 non-Apple earbuds with similar functionality and under same conditions lose just 3% of their charge.

    Find My iPhone Does NOT work with these!!!

    This is the WORST Apple Product in years!!! They are so EXPENSIVE and when you lose them they are GONE! I misplaced my first pair and the "Find My iPhone" app was only able to place them in the last place they were used. So that was almost $200 bucks down the drain. THEN I purchased the newest version 2 months ago....thinking that Apple would have surely improved the tracking technology....WRONG! I have misplaced them a couple of times and have only been a few feet away yet "Find My iPhone" shows them MILES away AND the "Play a Sound" feature doesn't work either. They won't even connect to Bluetooth sitting 2 feet away. I guess I need to buy a "Tile Chip" to track them and actually play a sound when I misplace them? I DO NOT recommend AirPods at all!

    Not worth it!

    I'm sadly surprised that Apple would create such bulky product!
    not easy to handle, bad speaker sound, bad connection, easy to loose, battery not stable and not reliable .
    I'm moved back to Jaybird the sound is X10 time better. I'm love apple product but this AirPods i strongly NOT recommended them.

    Air Pods are garbage

    The whole point of getting apple made air pods is so that they work seamlessly across different apple devices. Well they don't. They are buggy and switching must be done manually. I have headphones not made by apple that do this way better. And sound quality is mediocre at best.

    They're alright

    They are alright, they never fit into my ears very well, and one day one happened to fall out and break and the replacement cost a whopping $73.49! With the price of these they should come with more of a warranty than stuff that the manufacture messed up on. We all make mistakes, if they're going to charge anything for a replacement, it should be a reasonable price, not almost half of what you payed for them!

    Worst Apple Product I ever had!

    Keep disconnecting during calls and movie. contact technical support but still unsolved ! I had been apple user for more then 10 years, from phone, tablet to desktop and etc ..... losing confident on future apple products!!

    Stay away: Awful experience both with product and customer service

    I purchased these and was super excited to receive them. Unfortunetely after two charges the left one stopped working, something I have now read is a common fault with the charging case.

    After hours of chat on live chat to Apple support and an hour phone call they refuse to send me a replacement without cost to me. I expected better from Apple who normally have such good support.

    Simply not good

    I bought a pair of these for my wife and she simply doesn't like them. So, I tried them out and I am not a fan of them either. There is very little to no sound suppression, no active noise cancelation, they chip easy, they scratch easy, they get dirty easily, and just don't sound all that amazing in comparison to my IEMs. I thought I could use them while at the gym but they fall out too easily. For the price, they aren't worth it from my experience.

    Problematic with Apple Watch

    I bought these on the day they were released but returned them. They don't work well with Apple Watch 4 + cellular. When watch moves from iPhone pairing to cellular, the Airpods don't make the transition and fail to connect. My Bose Soundsports work seamlessly with Apple Watch and sound better too.

    Don’t buy with apple

    Very poor and difficult service trying to fix or get a refund for airpods which have already broken 3 times! Don’t waste your money and buy from somewhere else!!
