      Worked great until iOS 10

Was working fine until I upgraded to iOS 10. Now it will not charge my iPhone or iPad. I get a "Not Charging" message just after connecting to the device.

But since the last week stopped working and no iphone even recognize the connection. I've tried with several mini-usb cables and different iphones and the result is no charging neither alert from iOS telling the cable is incompatible.

Lightning Adapter and latest update to iOS

Let me preface this comment by saying that the adapter itself worked completely fine and would get 5 stars in and of itself. However.... I purchased a certif Let me preface this comment by saying that the adapter itself worked completely fine and would get 5 stars in and of itself. However.... I purchased a certified refurbished iPod touch gen 6 directly from Apple. I use it when I exercise and when I'm in the car. I had a gen 4 but couldn't use apple music on it because it couldn't update to a recent enough iOS to run the app. I have an iHome that I've used for years. Still works great. I got a lightning adapter for Christmas so that I could use the new ipod on the iHome. It worked great and I suspect it still would if apple didn't do something in the iOS update to make the device incompatible with the adapter. That's the message I get: Device Does Not Support Accessory. So why are they still selling the lightning adapter? And why didn't they warn customers that this was coming down the pike? I spend $20 on something that was rendered absolutely useless after owning it for about a month. Not that $20 is a princely sum, but it's $20 that I would prefer to have in my pocket now that I have a useless pieces of technology.

      Works great, almost no problems

I have had cases where a All the real Apple (not counterfeit) Lightning to Micro USB adapters I have bought work fine all the way up through current day iOS 11. I have had cases where adapters get dirty and need to be cleaned with alcohol. I had one fail by breaking where the Lightning plug connects to the adapter. With most Lightning cables, they go bad where the cable meets the plug. These are almost all I use now.
