      These cables are terrible

These break just as easy as the cheap flea market ones. I’m always praising Apples products to all my friends. These cables are an embarrassment.

With all the money apple is making, your customers shouldn't be replacing their chargers every few months . I never had this problem with my Samsung phone.

      stops working

miraculously, for the first time ever the cable did not split at the top by the lighting part of the cable. however out of the blue it has just stopped charging miraculously, for the first time ever the cable did not split at the top by the lighting part of the cable. however out of the blue it has just stopped charging my phone, tried plugging it into different outlets but nothing, was charging my phone fine during the night, but when i went to try and charge my phone later in the afternoon it wasn't even recognising the cable. every other apple cable has split at the end, never had a good experience.

      A longstanding weak point

A really poor implementation of a vital cable. Somehow it manages to be both inflexible and fragile. The cable itself probably rates 2 stars but apple’s attitude to warranty knocks another off. Experienced the often reported splitting problem despite the cable being in a ‘static’ setting, warranty invalid as it is deemed ‘mechanical damage’. I usually stick with official products but these cables are poor so I’d advise getting a certified cable elsewhere.
