On an iPad, Can you make a Connection to another monitor, like a TV, to watch movies?

    Yes..
    The easy way is to get a dongle with a HDMI /USB-C port , depending upon what your other monitor or tv supports with a lightining connector on one side..Only Apple made will work flawlessly with your ipad. Once connected with iPad insert the HDMI or other cable in it and connect it with your TV. The iPad will detect it automatically and your screen of iPad will be mirrored on to the TV or monitor.
    Anything you will do on your iPad will be seen on the monitor.

    (But the last time while going for a presentation which I had made on my iPad Pro, this set up did not work with an old model of a proector by BenQ.
    Guess the projector was too old to be compatible with my iPad. Though this same setup did work with my hospital projector nicely many times and also with other new projectors)
    The second is via screen mirroring via Apple TV. Here you connect your iPad with your Apple TV and then connect the same with your other monitor or with TV.
