Can Airport Express convert Wi-Fi to Ethernet?

I have a motorhome and we camp in areas that provide Wi-Fi. My TV is internet ready, but requires an Ethernet cable input. Can the Airport Express detect the Wi-Fi signal and convert it to Ethernet so that I can plug the Ethernet cable into my TV?

Yes. Airport Express has a client mode which dedicates it to do just that. When using it in client mode, it will pick up the WiFi at your camp, and allow your TV to get on that network via the Ethernet connector. In this mode, it will not do it's normal job, and extend the wireless network further wirelessly. It will act as a receiver for the physically connected device (TV) only.
