Can this be used outdoors or is there an outdoor one available that works with Wemo?

Yes, but it may be difficult or defeat why you want it outdoors. The electoral code requires all outdoor outlets to have a cover, and if they are used during inclement weather, they have to have a cover that protects the outlet and plug. I have yet to find a cover that will fit this inside. Without one, it should be removed when it is not used or when the weather turns bad.
