Has quality improved?
My son took excellent care of his beats solos and still, the sound broke on 1 side and the headphones cracked and broke apart at the seams on one side too - after just over a year of use. We attempted to use electrical tape, but the one side never sat over the ear well and we ended up throwing them in the trash. Apparently this is an ongoing and common problem (if you search for cracked or broken beats you'll see what I mean) with Solos, Studios, etc. so it doesn't matter how much you spend. Quality was awful.
Has the quality improved yet? I refuse to buy Beats again if they've ignored the issues and skimped on quality control. Not worth spending $250 or more for something that is going to break only for the brand.
