imac 10.1running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 how do i go about getting High Sierra?
I now need to upgrade to the latest OS. How do I go about it? Details, please as I am not "au fait" with the latest technology jargon.
Thanks, much appreciated.

iMac10,1 will run High Sierra.
To get there:
1) Open the App Store app and search for "MacOS". High Sierra requires OS 10.8 or later to already be installed, so you will need to download and install any version of OSX after OS 10.7. Most likely this will be OS 10.11 (El Capitan). (OS10.11 was last version of OSX to install on Macs running OS 10.6.8.)
2) Once you are running OS 10.8 or later, then open the App Store app and repeat the search for "MacOS". Now you will be able to download and install OS 10.13 (High Sierra).
