Once you enter the Camera app, you are greeted by a selection of camera modes (assuming you are on iOS 10). These include photo, square, time lapse, slo-mo, video and panorama. The photo option allows you to take high definition photos and they (like all other modes) will enter the camera roll. The square option enables you to take photos that are square. The time lapse feature can take a video, but it will be sped up. This feature is good on clouds, driving and moving people. The slo-mo feature records a video, but slows down a portion of it. The video part will take good quality videos and finally, the panorama photo allows you to take a photo of a large area around you. All of these modes are able to be edited e.g. by adding tone and filters, and you can draw on them with "markup."
