What does one need for airlines? Can blue-tooth be used or just wired(assumed so)? And noise cancelling when one has a seat by a jet engine?
My other half (and I?) would like noise cancelling, easy to travel with, GREAT sounding over the ear (prob.) headphones. Just Bose or others?
I like sound of over ear, but unsure of wife's preference...AND what about those awesome magna planars? Assume the latter don't have the noise cancelling (mostly for travel in aircraft.). I love my Grado's, & like the Beats (broken plastic, however). Any suggestions? Trying to keep the expenses low....er...sort of...Thanks so very much!

Depending on airline. Usually I use Bluetooth and get away with it but you are not supposed to. So use it wired if you are a rule obeying guy. These have, unarguably, the best noise cancelling of any headphone. I used mine on a plane and happened to sit just behind the engines. Once I popped these on the sound reduced by over 70% and then once I played sound through them the sound from the engines was just barely noticible.
