Sd compatible images to iPad.
I save digital Xrays of injured animals onto a SD card from my laptop in the field. My iPad will not recognise these images as compatible although it will take camera jpegs from the same SD card through the Camera Connection kit. Is there a specific file type or converter that will allow me to do this. The screen on the iPad is good enough to allow assessment of the images and this saves time rather than returning to the clinic. Thank you.

Can I download and view the video format created by my Canon HG10 HD camcorder?
The camcorder uses a USB cable to connect to my really old G4 Mac and PC laptop, but I can only view the format on my Intel-based laptop. Is the iPad able to play the video footage?

Can I only import JPG for preview but not RAW? I take small JPG & RAW together. I don't want the raw file taking up space. I use the RAW files later
I shoot with the Canon 5D2 and the files are huge. I want to use the iPad for my customers to preview the images before they leave. It will take too long to download the raw as well as the great waste of space.

Will This Work With iPhone 3GS I mean Has anyone tried?

Best Answer:Sadly, no. Your 3GS will throw up an error saying that 'this accessory was not designed for iPhone'.
Unless you mean 'will the iPad recognise the iPhone as a storage device?' In that case, yes. If you connect it with a USB dock connector, it will load up like a normal camera would and it'll let you import photos and videos from it to your iPad.- Answered by Anonymous A from Xxxxxxxxx

Best Answer:
Only the thumbnail can be viewed, pictures have to be selected then imported first before they can be viewed full screen (if that was the question).

Where can I find a list of raw files the iPad will support?
I have a Panasonic G1 (.RAW) and an Olympus 510 (.ORF) cameras. Does the iPad support these raw files through the Camera Connection Kit?

Best Answer:Unfortunately, the last answer you received does not actually help you at all. I checked here, with Apple tech support and online, and there is no comprehensive list of the type of RAW files that are accepted, nor does Apple actually know. I finally got the camera connector for myself, and can tell you for sure that the Olympus RAW is imported just fine.

Can I use the iPad to show the slow motion videos I take with my Casio Digital ExLim FH20? I teach tennis. The screen would be great.
I take the videos and play them back in quicktime on my mac, but the iPad would be much better to haul around. I usually end up just using the 4" screen on the camera when I'm on the court, but it is a little too small. I know I could go from camera to mac to ipad, but I wonder if I can go direct to the iPad. The files are usually stored as AVI files. The ones I am interested in are the 210 and 420 fps high speed shots that do play fine in Quicktime.
Here are the specs on the files for the ExLim FH20
File Format: Movies: AVI format, Motion JPEG, IMA-ADPCM(Monaural)
Recording Media: 31.9 MB built in flash memory, SD Memory Card, SDHC Memory Card, MMC (MultiMediaCard), MMC plus
Number of Recorded Pixels
Movies:
HD(1280x720 30fps)
HS 1000(224x56 1000fps)
HS 420(224x168 420fps)
HS 210 (480x360 210fps)
HS 30-210 (480x360 30fps 210fps)
