will this adapter work with both the ipad2 and iphone5

Best Answer:Yes. You will need a different cable for each as the iPhone 5 uses the new lighting connector, and the iPad 2 uses the old 30 pin dock connector. Both cables came with you iPhone 5, and iPad 2 respectively, and both are compatible with this charger.

Answer
1A at 5V is 5W. And the adapter has a standard USB connector. It should work using your GoPro's USB cable. Of course, there's no guarantee, and Apple is not going to support using their chargers with non-Apple devices.

How much faster does the 12W wall charger charge versus using the 10W when charging the 128gb 4th generation iPad?
I was wondering how much faster the 12W charger is in charging the iPad 4th generation, 128GB versus using the 10W charger. Is there a significant difference. I have a few 10W and I'm wondering if I should replace them with 12W chargers. Thanks! :)

Best Answer:Its not easy to answer this question because it depends on the state of the charge and condition of your iPad and the charging profile for that model.
As a rough estimate it should be 20% faster. 10W is = 10 volt.amps 12W is 12 volt.amps. if 10VA = 100%. 12VA = 120%.- Answered by James J C from St Saviours

Answer
You will see a significant difference in charging time of your iPhone 5S with the 12W adapter versus the 5W adapter. For me charging my iPhone 5S using the 10W adapter takes it from 20% of battery to almost full 95%-98% within 30-45 minutes, using the 5W adapter that came with my phone nearly doubles the charging time.

No!!! The only concern is if it is of a different voltage. The wattage has no affect.
