What format do videos on my sd card have to be

I have inserted my sd card and all that comes up is photos , no videos are displaying must they be changed to a different format

what type of memory cards does this adapter read?  SD, micro SD, memory stick duo, memory stick micro, ....?  it would be helpful list card sizes in gb

When downloading pictures from the card does it move or copy the files from the SD card. If copy, does it only copy new files?
