Yes. I do this often using the SD card to lightning adapter from Apple. I then airdrop it directly to my Mac and then import into Lightroom. You also have the option from the iPad to import it directly into Lightroom (on iPad) or into Dropbox too. AirDrop is pretty quick though! :)
