    Cables are flawed - Should be recalled and replaced

    When my iphone4 died 3 days before going remote for a week on a job I brought a new iphone5, excited and not expecting any problems I took it away. within the week of purchase, while 3 hours away from Melbourne I had a flat phone that wouldn't charge, perseverance eventually got it to charge, but it was hit and miss. That early in the piece no one had the after market cable so I was screwed. I brought one on ebay and it worked well for about 4 months till it too became flakey. My wife's 4 also died early on and her cable was bad too, we took it back to the telstra shop and it worked fine, got it back to work and it was playing up. I ordered another cable and it lasted a short while but for the most part we have been sharing one charger with a 3rd party cable. Today I purchased 2 more new cables from the Apple Shop, and straight out of the box I had trouble with one, the other worked fine, later trying to work out which was faulty to take back and they are both working??? Come on apple I can't imagine life without an iphone, specially the 5 with 4G/LTE but this cable is unfit for distribution.

    Flimsy and poor design

    The new lightning cable will stop working after only a few weeks! This is horrible! And judgin from the reviews, I'm not the only one to face this problem. This thing wasn't an issue with the old cable. I hate this cable.

    ABSOLUTE RUBBISH

    2 months after i bought my iPod Touch 5th gen the cable became weak and bent and eventually stopped working. My sister got the same product for Christmas and 2 months after the cable did the same thing. she took it back and got a replacement for free but just 2 weeks afterwards it just stopped working. It doesn't look broken but it isn't functioning at all. I am not happy at all

    HORRIBLE.

    My charger keeps breaking no matter how careful I am with it! currently have a dead phone on my hands because I have to wait till the store opens tomorrow to go get my 3rd charger for the iPhone 5. VERY frustrating especially when your waiting for an important call. I cannot express how disappointed I am in the lack of durability of this charger! its ridiculous that I have to keep spending money to buy new ones!

    lightning fast to break

    the connector is too small and delicate for use with Ipad. breaks easily and a bad experience for me.

    Stops working after a few months.

    I purchased my iPhone 5 in November and after 2 months its a hassle, now you need to jiggle the cord to make it just right for it to charge. Come on Apple fix the quality. Sheesh!

    Great New size!

    This is definitely a much better cable as compared to the previous one! Of course its such a hassel (Especially for an individual with many iPhone accessories), but still, its an amazing product!
