    not happy!!!!

i have 5 chargers in the time of 3 months. i have treated these chargers so well but they havent in return. i am sick of having to by new ones and them not charging properly and then not at all. lease fix this problem i am sick of it VERY! its a shame because i love my ipod but half the time i cant use it because its flat and i cant charge it. the chargers are to expensive to keep on replacing $30 really so lets think $30x5=$150 so i have spent close to $200 dollars just on chargers i should just get a gen 4 or not even bother at all.

    Needy Sturdier Product!

These chargers break way too easily! How about using some of the millions of dollars you make as a company to make longer lasting chargers?!

    Faulty Quality

Just like everyone else-I've had my Iphone 5 since September 2012 and I'm on my 4th or 5th cable. They all keep breaking/wearing out at the same place (the small connection part that plugs directly into the phone). This is my first iPhone, but used to have an iPod touch with the old connector and never had to replace that ONCE. I'm hoping that Apple takes all of these negative reviews into consideration when the next generation of iPhones come out! Until then, I think I might just get an adapter and use the OLD cord which DOESN'T BREAK every time I look at it :( !

    IT FRIGGING BROKE!

This a NEW charger that came with my iphone 5 and just after a few weeks, it stops working? WTH? I wanted to buy another one, but after reading the reviews I'm scared it's going to be a complete waste of money. So disappointed.

    Terrible

I had purchased this cable from the store, over time the cable casing will buldge near the lightning connector end. It was still working at this point so I thought it was no big deal. Then it started to fray and stopped working, I then brought it back to the apple store to exchange as it was within the 1-year warrantee period. They said the damage wasn't covered even though I had used it under very normal circumstances. They said that it wasn't considered normal wear and tear and I would have to shell out another $21. I am very disappointed with this product. On the customer review boards this is a common complaint but apple fails to acknowledge it.

    Honestly!!!

This is the last comment you'll ever need to read about lightning chargers!!!

It's as simple as this, Apple made the most poorly executed design on purpose so cheap third party Chinese chargers would break and apple make the Benjamin's. Considering most micro USB chargers floating around world wide are cheap Chinese ones, I've never had a micro USB charger break!!!
I've owned every iPhone since the iPhone 2 and never had a problem with the 30 pin, and I would always even pull the charger out by the cord (not the plug) and sleep on my phone every night on charge, and I never broke a single one!

Since the iPhone 5, I've gone through a new charger every 3 months, now your probably thinking, your just mixing up original chargers with identical looking Chinese ones and breaking those. We'll no, I've experimented with them and they're made to be use for a few days then thrown away.
The chargers I break, are original as I exchange them with warranty at apple when they break!,
Problem with that is every year once the original warranty is up, I need to pay for a new one again, so for those of you unlucky to have lost your receipt when buying a charger cable need to pay for a new one.

Only solution is to buy a 30pin to lighting adapter and use your old 30pin cable, or

Buy a griffin or possibly ghecko cable. I've bought one of each and they've been just fine so far, the griffin is built much more robust and is $5-$10 cheaper than the apple here in Australia.
    I prefer the latter.

I love Iphones, but don't give apple your money any more when replacing chargers!!

Since jobs passed away, apple is going down hill!!!!!!!!!!!

Note: remember when everyone in the world had a Nokia, maybe apple should learn from them and use those chargers they had back in the day, never ever heard of those breaking. Lol

    Disgustingly unreliable

I finally switched from the 4S to the 5S. It's bad enough Apple changed the cable, but they replaced it with a non viable solution. I've only had the phone a few weeks and already it won't get a full charge when plugged into my pc. It immediately gives the "this accessory may not be supported"... The accessory that was in the friggin box!! From the reviews I can look forward to the cable failing all together soon.

It only gets a decent charge from the wall outlet, for now. Which I don't like, I prefer to have the phone backed up daily. And btw, as horribly overpriced as these phones are, Apple could at least provide a 6ft cable with the phone! Not to mention the stupid price of replacement cables.

    Disappointed and frustrated

I've gone through about five iPhone 5 chargers now & my new one just now has stopped working, getting very frustrated with this & I can see everyone else has too, fix the problem. This is ridiculous.

    3rd one just broke

Not sure if the cable has less structural integrity than the 4's... But, my 5's charging cable keeps breaking. It's so frustrating I'm planning on using a 4 cable with an adapter to mitigate any risk of this happening again. I am beginning to believe these aren't isolated incidents after reading the reviews.

Iphone 5 charger the worst of Apple products!!!!

Apple be accountable for the great products you make but also take responsibility and provide a solution when your products do not work!!!I
I currently have 6 Iphone 5 chargers and none of the chargers work!, this is hundreds of wasted dollars. I was shocked at the number of customers with the same issue. Apple FIX the problem!!!

    Better quality please?!

My iPhone 5 is my first iPhone and it might be my last if apple doesn't do something about this charger... Or at least they could warn us when we're buying an expensive phone that we'll have to pay an additional $19 every 3 months to get another poor quality charger.

    Poor Product

Cable worked for a couple of months then the lightning end part of the cable wore off and now has stopped working completely. Usually am a fan of Apple products due to their quality but these are appalling and should be replaced at no cost by Apple.

    Continually fails

This will be the third cable in less than a year. Not up to Apple's quality.

    EPIC FAIL

For a company that prides itself on quality, this one's an epic fail. I've been a loyal customer since the first iPhone and the cables always seem to break apart near the ends. PLEASE MAKE DURABLE CABLES!! Maybe then people would stop buying from other manufacturers and you can stop wasting money putting chips in them.

    Break very easily

I expected more from such an expensive phone as IPhone! The charger breaks every 3 months and always in the same spot!! Apple should fix this...I can't believe the poor quality of a $20 charger...

    dissapointed

I'd like to say that I was going to buy a replacement cable for the mine that broke, however after reading reviews, I think I'll just stick to my mophie case that uses a different adapter. How can you expect anyone to purchase these products with so many negative reviews? Reviews of poor products are going to bring an end to this company
