    Impressive, Stylish, Wonderful sound

Having owned this pair of earbuds for half of a year now, they have definitely achieved my expectations. The highs, lows, booms, and tiniest noises that other earbuds usually don't pick up blend beautifully in these for a high-quality musoc experience. These Beats cannot parallel to the feel of an ultra-loud tuned home stereo, but the volume on these are impressive. Compacts beautifully in its included case. I treat these with utmost care, and thus, they don't "break in my first three months lost warrenty apple stinks". They have hit a few drops on hard flooring, but they continue to work like new. My only complaint is the comfort, as the hard outer metal edge leaves a pain on my ears when I remove them. Overall, snug fit, professional sound, efficient (uses little battery power), love the mic and control, an overall great product!

Too small for an average sized woman

Apparently these earbuds were never tested on a woman. I'm an average size woman, but none of the attachments are small enough to comfortably fit in my ear. With the smallest attachment available, my ears hurt after 3 minutes of wear. The sound is ok, but they're completely unusable for me. I contacted customer service hoping that they'd have extra, smaller attachments, but turns out I'm out of luck. There's no way that these were tested on a woman. Hopefully I'll be able to sell or return these. Don't bother with this garbage unless you have ear canals the size of a Clydesdale.

Supposed to be Tangle Free cable - Awful since Apple takeover

The urBeats had traditionally used a 'tangle free' cable which worked very well on previous models. The cable would never tangle as it would not be attracted to tangle with itself. The urBeats in 2015 (after Apple's acquisition of Beats) were supposed to retain this feature, as it was advertised as a feature at the time, but they are a very poor, mere effort at 'tangle free'. The cable is squared but it does not stop it from tangling itself. Specifically bought them for this feature due to my OCD but they are awful. Would not recommend. (Music quality is good, however).

    Over-priced and low-quality.

Worked reasonably well when I bought them, but eventually the right earphone stopped working. No coverage after a year for what appears to be poor workmanship, was told I would have to pay $59 plus shipping and handling to have them repaired (original price was $99). I would recommend going for other earbuds on the market that often cost half as much, and last twice as long.

    Fragile/Weak earbuds

I bought my first pair of beats earphone and it's been only 6 months. However, the left side of the earbud stopped working. I've tried it on different devices(iPad, iPhone) and the left bud is still not responding. For the price I've paid, it's not really worth it. Assuming that it was meant to be strong, it broke easily.

To sum it up, the quality is ABSOLUTELY APPALLING

The build quality is okay, and they look good, but the good ends there.

The sound quality is downright h*rrible, I couldn't believe my ears when I walked out of the store and put this into my ears. Even the earpods are a thousand times better, this one sounds like $2 chinese earbuds. No idea how anyone can think these sound even remotely okay. Stay the h*ll away.

do not buy, not worth $100

I thought that a $100 pair of headphones would last a few years - I was very wrong. The left earbud started to have reduced sound (I could barely hear anything out of it). I called Apple and I was just past the one-year warranty. They offered to repair the headphones for $59.95+ shipping (almost the cost of the headphones). I will NOT be repurchasing this product. I wish I had read the reviews before wasting my money.

I had bought these a year ago and they have broken 4 times. The right ear piece has died for the fouth time and my warranty ran out. I bought them for 100 dollars and thought they could last longer than a 20 dollar pair.

Bought these thinking it would be good because of the brand name. Man was i wrong! The left earbud stopped working after 6 months and luckily enough, I got them fixed for free and they sent me a new one. Another year has passed now and the same problem occurs. The left earbud would stop working and you deal with it but then eventually, the right will give out as well. Tried to get it fixed but they only offered to repair it for 59$+tax. Use that money to buy better quality headphones. If you pay to have it fixed, its like having an annual fee to pay that rate just to fix your headphones.
Horrible by Apple/Beats By dre, will never buy their headphones again

    Quality sound, doesn't last long

I bought a pair of these and at first I was satisfied. After about 3 and a half weeks the right ear piece lost almost all sound. I've read similar reviews to the one I'm writing and I rolled the dice, and I regret it.

Great bass, great isolation, and very durable.

I've had these earphones in heavy use for half a year and I love them:

    - Deep, strong bass response--the best I've ever heard on any pair of earphones.
    - Good isolation from isolation in the environment--better than some older pairs of noise cancelling headphones I've had.
    - Very, very durable--Between heavy wear and keeping them in my pocket, earphones tend to break on me quite quickly. I haven't had that problem with these.
    - Comfortable to wear.
    - Good looking design (red and black!)
    - Great value!

    Good sound quality/awful durability

For a hundred bucks, you'd think you would get a quality product. For the few months while it worked, the sound was great. I liked the volume control & microphone built into the wire. But then one of the ear pieces will stop working. So you go into the apple store to get it repaired, they have to send it out & you gotta go the next few days with no ear buds or some inferior backups. This happened to me FIVE TIMES in the span of one year. Luckily it was still under warranty, but that is besides the point. I suspect what you are really paying for is the brand name: Beats & Apple. I doubt they will improve on this technology since Apple phased out headphone jacks. It is really disappointing the way Apple products have been heading lately. They are taking away more and more customer options (don't get me started on the removal of the 5 star rating system and Genius playlist abilities on the iPhone). If this continues, I won't be surprised if they lose their standing in the technology field and people flock to other brands.

    Plain Awful.

These didn't fit in my ears to begin with, and the sound wasn't terrible, but also not mind-blowing. I figured I could deal with that... Except today they went quiet. I've had them for about two weeks. Everyone I've talked to who has them says they go through about 5 pairs a year. In summation: these earbuds have wasted my time, which I find SUPER irritating.

Four pairs later and I finally insisted on a refund! Each pair had the same issue, one side stopped working after a few months and the last pair lasted less than a week before having the same issue. DO NOT BUY. Invest in Bose, you won't be disappointed. Apple sort this out and stop wasting our time and money! If I could these wouldn't even have got one star from me!

Seem to have the same technical issues

Had for less than a year. The left ear stopped working properly. Returned and replaced with a brand new pair. The very afternoon I picked them up they had the same problem. Must be a design issue. Not worth investing in if you don't want to spent all of your time queuing at an Apple store to get replacements!

Quality & Endurance not worth the cost!!

I have been using this headphones for 4 months now. Sound quality is alright compared to usual/normal headphones you can buy under £50. But 4 months into its life, both the speakers stopped working. I think its poor quality of wiring connection. I wouldn't recommend this, unless you want to keep changing headphones every 3-4 months. It does stick on your ears quite well during workouts/running. Liked the sleak design of the wires. But that's about it. Its just a pretty face and little sound quality. Its not for the long use!!

These are garbage don't buy them

Honestly, they are held together by hotglue.
~ You can hear every bug that flies by while you wear them.
~ They don't fit in the ear well, no matter what earbud I put on them.
~ the music sounds like its come out of a tin can
~ way overpriced for what you are buying.

I ignored the advice that these were terrible quality and only sell because they have Dre on the box. Don't ignore that. View as disposable.

Very good headphones besides breaking pretty fast

I bought these headphones a few months back and have to admit that the sound quality is really good. I'd say it particularly caters to fans of Hip-Hop, EDM and other bass heavy music. That being said, I waited a little before writing this review in order to test the durability of the headphones. Low and behold, the left ear piece has stopped functioning after regular use. In all, The sound quality is very good but don't expect them to last very long.
